Steve Maclin Cleared for In-Ring Return After TNA Sacrifice Knockout
Steve Maclin has been cleared to return to in-ring action following the knockout he suffered at TNA Sacrifice. On April 22, 2026, Maclin announced on social media, “AIN’T FOUND A WAY TO KILL ME YET. Cleared & ready to get back to work,” confirming he was not diagnosed with a concussion and is ready to resume competition.
The injury occurred early in his World Championship match against Mike Santana when a superkick put Maclin out, leading officials to stop the contest and Eddie Edwards to rush out and brawl with Santana. Referee Alice Lane received praise for her quick recognition of the situation as TNA tended to Maclin and ultimately ruled the match thrown out.
