NXT Dusty Rhodes Classic Tournament Bracket Updated

Published

Dusty Rhodes Classic

WWE has made a minor change to the tournament bracket, the 2018 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic on Friday afternoon. The original brackets announced Friday morning had SAnitY vs. Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss in the first round of the left side while TM-61 vs. The Authors of Pain was listed at the top of the right side in the first round.

Those two matches were switched to opposite sides. You can see the updated bracket below with the changes made:

First Round

  • The Street Profits vs. Heavy Machinery
  • TM61 vs. The Authors of Pain
  • Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss vs. Alexander Wolfe & Eric Young
  • Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch vs. Tyler Bate & Trent Seven

Semi-Finals

  • The Street Profits or Heavy Machinery vs. TM61 or The Authors of Pain
  • Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss or Alexander Wolfe & Eric Young vs. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch or Tyler Bate & Trent Seven

My Thoughts:

This tournament has been a fantastic since the very first one. TM61 is the favorite for most people. Sanity and Authors Of Pain while the more experienced teams, look to be moving up. If you ask me I would like to see TM61 and Bate/Seven in the finals. However unlike most people I would like to see the United Kingdom pairing take the win. This in my opinion would launch both teams onto a new level. TM61 doesn’t need the win and this loss could setup both teams for success.

Who would you like to see in the finals? How about the winners? Let us know below in the comment section or on Twitter.

Steve Maclin Cleared for In-Ring Return After TNA Sacrifice Knockout

Published

on

Steve Maclin has been cleared to return to in-ring action following the knockout he suffered at TNA Sacrifice. On April 22, 2026, Maclin announced on social media, “AIN’T FOUND A WAY TO KILL ME YET. Cleared & ready to get back to work,” confirming he was not diagnosed with a concussion and is ready to resume competition.

The injury occurred early in his World Championship match against Mike Santana when a superkick put Maclin out, leading officials to stop the contest and Eddie Edwards to rush out and brawl with Santana. Referee Alice Lane received praise for her quick recognition of the situation as TNA tended to Maclin and ultimately ruled the match thrown out.
