WWE Rumors: WWE Announces Alexa Bliss Injured, Out Of Mixed Match Challenge

After coming up short against Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship at Hell In A Cell, WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss’ next scheduled contest was set for tonight’s return of the Mixed Match Challenge on Facebook Watch.

‘Little Miss Bliss’ and her partner from last season, Braun Strowman, had been slated to take on Kevin Owens and Natalya. However, today WWE has announced that Alexa suffered an arm injury against Rousey and will now be replaced by Ember Moon. Additionally, Bliss will be off of this weekend’s RAW Live Events:

At this time, it’s not known if Alexa’s injury is storyline or not, as there have been no reports suggesting she was hurt at Hell In A Cell.

EA’s Take: This one’s a tough call on whether it’s legitimate or not. You always have to be weary of what WWE announces. We saw Alexa on RAW last night and while she was not in her gear and didn’t get physically involved, she didn’t seem to be ailing with the way she moved her arm. It’s also entirely possible this is a case where she’s just a little banged up and they want to give her time to rest to be ready for the big match against Trish at Evolution.
