MLW News: MLW Announces More Changes To Miami TV Tapings After Injuries
More changes have been made to MLW’s Miami television tapings!
As has been noted, MLW’s next Fusion television tapings set to take place with Never Say Never on December 13th and Zero Hour on December 14th in Miami will be seeing some changes after a handful of injuries last weekend.
One change that is already official is the Never Say Never main event (see more on that here), after Rey Fenix announced he would be taking the rest of the year off (check that out here). More alterations were also expected with injuries to Tom Lawlor and MJF (find that story here), which MLW has already partly addressed by stating they consider MJF to be “day-to-day”.
Now, MLW has switched things up once again, this time swapping a couple of matches around as Shane Strickland vs. Rush has been added to Never Say Never, while Rush vs. Rich Swann has been moved to Zero Hour:
MLW MIAMI CARDS REMIXED: RUSH VS. STRICKLAND SIGNED FOR DEC. 13; RUSH VS. SWANN ADDDED TO DEC 14 CARD
MIAMI – MLW has remixed some of its matches due to injures and in this case, the remix is even better. MLW presents a December double-shot debut at the Miami Scottish Rite Temple on December 13 & 14th. Both nights will be MLW FUSION TV tapings for beIN SPORTS.
Rush vs. Shane “Swerve” Strickland has been added to the Thursday night December 13th MLW: Never Say Never card.
Rush vs. Rich Swann for the first-time ever will take place on Friday December 14th at the MLW: Zero Hour card.
Rush looks to follow-up on his big MLW debut earlier this month in Chicago when he takes on former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Strickland. Strickland, who is estranged from MLW, has agreed to wrestle despite opting out of his contract, due to an on-going legal dispute filed by the league.
Night 2, Rich Swann will look to use his fluid high-flying style to counter Rush’s very physical brawling and power. In this first-time ever encounter, the leader of Los Ingobernables will have a big challenge facing a globetrotting grappler unlike anyone he has faced before.
Buy General Admission tickets starting at $15 at http://www.MLWTickets.com. For just $20 fans can see both the December 13th (Never Say Never) and December 14th (Zero Hour) shows as part of the holiday combo ticket.

WWE Has Yet to Reach Initial Goal After AAA Acquisition, Dave Meltzer Reports
On an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said WWE has not yet achieved the objectives it set following last year’s acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. Meltzer indicated that the integration and strategic milestones tied to the purchase remain a work in progress.
His comments add to industry scrutiny over the timeline and overall impact of WWE’s expansion into the Mexican market, where AAA’s roster and brand are viewed as significant assets. WWE has not publicly confirmed whether it has revised its expectations or adjusted its plan for leveraging AAA.

WWE/TKO Reportedly Seeking Major Pay Cuts for Talent
Two reports indicate WWE and its new parent company TKO have been asking contracted talent to accept pay reductions, with one rumor suggesting cuts could be as high as 50 percent. The outreach is said to affect performers across multiple tiers as the company reviews payroll and operational expenses.
If accurate, the proposed cuts could reshape contract talks and talent retention amid TKO’s restructuring, raising questions about morale and long-term roster depth. WWE has not issued a public confirmation as discussions are reportedly ongoing.
