Apollo Crews, Commander Azeez, Mansoor, Mad Cap Moss, Drew Gulak, T-Bar, R-Truth, Akira Tozawa, Reggie, Jinder Mahal, Shanky, both Viking Raiders, both members of The Hurt Business, Damian Priest, and even NXT’s Tommaso Ciampa are already waiting, but here come the Dirty Dawgs, Robert Roode & NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler, and even WWE United States Champion, Finn Balor! Who wins to immortalize their name alongside The Eighth Wonder of the World?
The bell rings and the brawl is on! T-Bar is after Mansoor, Gulak is after Ziggler, Truth goes after Gulak! Priest TOSSES Akira Tozawa and ELIMINATES him! Reggie stays safe on the apron, he avoids Tozawa’s sweep but Priest BOOTS him and ELIMINATES him! Truth says he and Priest are working together, but then Priest TOSSES and ELIMINATES Truth! Ciampa goes after Ziggler, then he helps Gulak and Priest go after T-Bar! The Viking Raiders work together on Jinder and Shanky! The Vikings TOSS and ELIMINATE Jinder! Then they go after Azeez! Roode is after Balor, Cedric dumps T-Bar over!
T-Bar holds onto ropes, choke grips Cedric, but Shelton Benjamin KNEES T-Bar and ELIMINATES him! Priest ROCKS Benjamin, fires off hands, stomps him in a corner, but Benjamin holds on. Azeez dumps Ziggler over but Roode helps out. The Hurt Business mugs Priest, Ciampa goes after Apollo, and Gulak goes after Moss! Moss runs, gets through the boot and runs Gulak over! Gulak gets up, Moss clotheslines Gulak up and out and ELIMINATES him! Then Happy Corbin shows up to cheer on his buddy. Corbin holds ropes for Moss to throw Balor, but Balor reverses to throw Moss!
Moss holds on and Corbin is upset. Moss isn’t sure what happened, but Ciampa throws Moss over! Corbin keeps Moss in and Corbin wants Moss to listen to him. He’s trying but Corbin is distracting him! Ciampa fires off CHOPS on Moss and works to push him out! Balor fights off the Hurt Business, the Dirty Dawgs go after them. Moss stomps Ciampa down, Shanky CLUBS Roode. Apollo throws Cedric out, GAMANGIRI and he ELIMINATES Cedric! Benjamin throws Apollo out, but Azeez is after Benjamin! Benjamin fires hands, but Azeez SHOVES and ELIMINATES Benjamin!
But then the Vikings attack Apollo and Azeez! Mansoor ROCKS Ciampa, slingshots but into a HEADBUTT! Ciampa KNEES Mansoor and ELIMINATES him! The Vikings ELIMINATE Apollo, but Azeez ELIMINATES Ivar! Shanky helps to ELIMINATE Erik! No more Viking Raiders but the biggest men stare down! Shanky says this is HIS ring! And he choke grips Azeez! Azeez breaks free, fires off hands, but Shanky knees low! Shanky throws haymakers, goes for a leg, but Azeez CLUBS him! Azeez scoops to push Shanky, but Balor and the others dump BOTH men out! DOUBLE ELIMINATION!
But now we’re down to our final six! Moss, Roode, Ziggler, Ciampa, Priest and Balor! And naturally, Priest is after Balor given their US Championship feud! Ciampa bumps Ziggler off buckles while Priest tries to lawn dart! Balor slips off but Priest choke grips! But Balor fights the slam, only for Priest to KICK, BELL CLAP and ROLLING ELBOW! But Balor PELES Priest! Balor dumps and ELIMINATES Priest! The fans fire up , Ciampa is after Ziggler but Roode dumps Ciampa! Balor is after Moss, Ciampa fights off both Dawgs. Ziggler SUPERKICKS and ELIMINATES Ciampa!
The Dawgs go after Balor but he fights them off! Balor trips Ziggler to DOUBLE STOMP! Roode kicks low to reel Balor in! But Balor trips Roode to DOUBLE STOMP! Balor tosses Ziggler but Roode is after Balor! Balor reverses but Roode holds ropes! Ziggler goes after Balor, but then Moss gets them all! Moss ELIMINATES the Dirty Dawgs, but Balor holds on! Balor skins the cat, dodges Moss and SLINGBLADES! Fans fire up as Balor runs, but Moss TOSSES Balor out and WINS!!

Moss joins Corbin on the plaque! He lifts it up high, gives little golden Andre a kiss, and then gets a mic. “I did it! I did it all by myself! This is incredible!” Moss says that ever since he was little, he always looked up to Andre the Giant. Andre was his hero. Fans boo but Moss says Andre was beloved by everyone, just like him. Moss has always wanted to follow in this enormous footsteps, and he did it! So what do you call a battle royal named after the smartest Texans around? A Cattle Royal! Moss is laughing himself to the floor, but will this really lead Moss to bigger and better things?
WWE Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat: Ricochet VS Angel Garza VS Humberto Carrillo!
The One and Only got beat twice by Los Lotharios, but mostly because the cousins helped each other. Will these Lethal Lovers be able to take this title from Ricochet with teamwork? Or will the fact that only one can be champion ruin that relationship?
SmackDown returns and Los Lotharios of course enter together. And they of course bring out the Los Lotharios Kiss Cam. They consider their options, and they find the young lady wearing a Mysterios merch shirt. Los Lotharios then go to the ring. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if Angel y Humberto can ground the King of Flight.
Los Lotharios start to flank Ricochet at the bell. Garza takes off the tearaway pants, throws it at Ricochet, then dropkicks him down! Carrillo stomps away, Garza joins in, and fans boo as they have Ricochet in the corner. Garza sits on Ricochet and BITES fingers! Carrillo drops an elbow on Ricochet’s leg, then Garza KICKS Ricochet in the side. Carrillo stands on Ricochet’s head, they put Ricochet on the apron, and Carrillo sets Ricochet up for a PENALTY KICK ENZIGURI COMBO! Ricochet flounders away while Garza dusts off his hands. Fans boo as Los Lotharios fist bump. Los Lotharios drags Ricochet up to put him in a corner.
Garza eggs Ricochet on, but Ricochet swings hands! He ROCKS Garza, ROCKS Carrillo, KICKS Garza then KICKS Carrillo. Ricochet headlocks but Carrillo powers out, only for Ricochet to run Garza over! Then he gets around Carrillo, Carrillo standing switches, but Ricochet elbows out. Ricochet kicks but Garza blocks. Garza throws Ricochet but he flips up and over Carrillo! Then he DOUBLE RANAS Los Lotharios! Fans fire up with Ricochet, Carrillo staggers up while Garza bails out. Ricochet RAMS into Carrillo and goes to the apron, where he DECKS Garza! Carrillo runs in but into a shoulder.
Ricochet aims at Carrillo but Garza anchors the springboard! Carrillo goes up, SUPER ARM-DRAG! Fans boo again but Carrillo stalks Ricochet. But Garza stalks Carrillo! Carrillo turns around and Garza backs up. Garza asks for a hug, Carrillo gives it to him, and fans boo. Garza’s smirk shows he’s just waiting for an opening, but SmackDown goes to break.
SmackDown returns and Carrillo stomps Ricochet while Garza soaks up heat. Garza blows kisses, then he and Carrillo bring Ricochet up. Ricochet fires off hands on Carrillo, ROCKS Garza, then CHOPS Carrillo! Ricochet ROCKS Garza more, then CHOPS him! Carrillo runs in and Garza sets Ricochet up, SPLASH! Garza hits a SPLASH, then feeds Ricochet to a pop-up to KICK him out of the air! Carrillo then LARIATS Ricochet down! Fans boo as Garza says, “You’re looking at the next Intercontinental Champion!” He and Carrillo drag Ricochet back up, they each have an armlock, but Dallas rallies behind Ricochet.
Los Lotharios double whip, Ricochet KICKS Garza! Carrillo ducks and the ENZIGURI hits Garza! Carrillo springboard ENZIGURIS Ricochet back! Cover, TWO! Carrillo is annoyed but Garza is upset. Carrillo rains down fists, lets off to soak up heat, and Garza covers! TWO, and now Carrillo is upset! Garza apologizes, but then Ricochet shoves Garza into Carrillo! Ricochet runs, Garza pops him up, but Ricochet RANAS Carrillo! Cover, but Garza SUPERKICKS it apart! Garza drags Ricochet up, reels him in and hooks the arms, but Carrillo rolls Garza up! TWO!! Now Garza is upset and Carrillo says it was only fair!
Dallas wants Los Lotharios to fight each other! They keep arguing, but Ricochet DOUBLE CROSSBODIES! Ricochet runs, CLOBBERS Carrillo, whips Garza but Garza reverses. Garza runs in but Ricochet boots him away! Ricochet somersaults to SHOTGUN Garza down! Fans fire up as Ricochet spins and sweeps Carrillo, for a STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! All three men are down and Dallas rallies up! Ricochet gets to a corner, Garza runs in but Ricochet BOOTS him! Carrillo runs in, but Ricochet TOSSES him up and out! Garza runs in, only gets buckles, then an ENZIGURI! Fans fire up, Ricochet goes up top!
Garza anchors Ricochet’s foot! Garza ROCKS Ricochet, but Ricochet KICKS him down! Ricochet steadies himself, adjusts, but Carrillo CLUBS him down! Carrillo goes up to CLUB Ricochet more, but Ricochet holds off the suplex! Ricochet throws body shots then CLUBS Carrillo back. Ricochet stands Carrillo up to SUPER GOURD BUSTER onto Garza! Then Ricochet gets up to 630 SENTON!! Then RECOIL to Carrillo!! Cover, Ricochet wins!

This is what the Glow & Boss wanted the tag title match to be before other teams got involved. But will Team BAD be feeling real good about their chances? Or will the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions show that they still have a chance at WrestleMania?
SmackDown returns and Shayna Baszler & Natalya make their entrance first. The champions are already in the ring, as are Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan. The ring announcer plugs the Fatal 4 Way for WrestleMania, then the match begins. Mella has her mask and she starts against Sasha Moon- er, Banks. Mella DECKS Sasha and rains down forearms! Mella drags Sasha up, throws her out, then soaks up the heat. Natty & Shayna like the aggression, then Mella tags Vega. Sasha ROCKS Vega, KNEES Mella, then gets in, but into a FABULOUS KICK! Vega BOOTS Sasha down, drags her in, and covers, TWO!
Vega drags Sasha over, tags Mella, and they put Sasha in the corner to stomp away on. Mella drags Sasha back up and wraps on a HANGING NECKLOCK! Vega tags in, the ref counts Mella, and Mella lets off at 4. Vega gets in, takes a bow, METEORA! Vega shoves Sasha to a cover, TWO! Vega tags Mella back in, they mug Sasha, then cover, TWO! Mella wraps on a chinlock and she thrashes Sasha around. Naomi and the fans rally, and Sasha fights up. Sasha throws hands but Mella throws her down! Mella soaks up the heat, then pie faces Sasha. Sasha blocks the kick to KNEE Mella down! Both women are down, fans rally, hot tag to Vega!
Vega DECKs Naomi to deny the tag! She soaks up the heat, but misses in the corner! Sasha rolls Vega, tags Naomi, and Naomi ROUNDHOUSES Vega! Naomi then gets around, BUBBA BOMB! Body scissor clutch but Mella breaks it! The ref reprimands but Mella and Vega regroup. Only to get a DOUBLE SHOTGUN from Naomi! Naomi kips up, tags Sasha, and fans fire up. Naomi and Sasha go in, DOUBLE BOOT WASH! Mella flops out, Vega is down, VADER BOMB from Sasha! Naomi hits a SPLIT LEG MOONSAULT! Naomi & Sasha win!

WWE shares Kayla Braxton visit to Ronda Rousey’s fight camp.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet was sparring with Shayna Baszler, and takes a break to talk. Ronda was just getting some reps in with Shayna badass. Well, her opponent at WrestleMania, Charlotte Flair, is a bit of a badass herself, but given what’s transpired between the two these last few weeks, Kayla is surprised Ronda isn’t more angry. Oh, Ronda is angry. But she won’t walk around all pissed off and wear herself out. She can control her anger and expertly apply it. So for now, she’ll relax, hang out with family and feed her baby. Her family will be front row when Charlotte either taps out or gets her arm ripped off as a souvenir for the Rousey family.

The SmackDown Women’s Champion, the Opportunity, the most decorated woman in WWE history, struts out on stage, and has a mic. “That video package was epic. I could watch that all day.” She means the video package that of course listed all of her accomplishments, as well as Ronda’s. Charlotte says the masterpiece she has created, causing Ronda immense pain is more beautiful, dramatic and poetic than Oscar winning movies. We all saw Ronda is angry. Ronda is angry that no matter what she tries, that she threatens to do, Charlotte will destroy her! Fans “What?” and she pretends she can’t hear them, then counters with “WOO~!”
But this is serious! Ronda acts like she has her emotions under control and that she’s cool. But we all know better, don’t we? Oh but you wanna know what’s cool? Charlotte Flair, that’s cool! The 13 time Women’s Champion is cool! The most dominant woman in sports entertainment is cool! Every woman wanting to be her and every man wanting to be with her is cool. Everyone wanting an autograph or picture is cool! Beating Ronda Rousey to a pulp and walking out of WrestleMania still SmackDown Women’s Champion is cool.
And Ronda, if you wanna lesson, stick with Charlotte and she’ll take you to school! As far as everyone is concerned, Charlotte has Ronda beat there, too, BITCH! The champion has said her piece, but will her challenger rip her to shreds?
Mad Cap Moss is shining up his trophy.
But then the claymore sword comes into view! Oh, right, Corbin still has possession of it. He tricked Moss and they both laugh at McIntyre, but will the Scottish Warrior be sure to take back Angela the claymore by any means necessary?
Rick Boogs rocks out!
He introduces himself, and he is here to rock with one-half of the future SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Shinsuke… NakamurrrrAAAAAA~! McAfee gets to rock out as the King of Strong Style makes his entrance, but then Austin Theory jumps the barriers and TRIPS McAfee up! McAfee hits desk, but then he gets up to chase Theory’s punk ass to the back! Theory ducks back into Mr. McMahon’s office again! But McAfee just BOOTS the door in! Vince is there to ask who McAfee thinks he is! Does he want to be fired? Does he want to lose his Mania match? No, obviously not. Then go do your job. Theory has a smug smirk as Vince is his shield, but will there be no stopping McAfee this Sunday?
Jimmy Uso w/ Jey Uso VS Rick Boogs w/ Shinsuke Nakamura!
Back to business, the Bloodline looks to take care of business before their Mania match! Will Jimmy make Boogs turn down the volume? Or will Boogs and Nakamura be rockin’ as they roll into WrestleMania and their SmackDown Tag Team title match?
SmackDown returns and the match begins. Boogs knocks Jimmy over, then drags him up! Boogs is still mad about Jimmy smashing that guitar on him, and he tosses Jimmy to the corner. Jimmy BOOTS Boogs away, then CHOPS! Boogs snarls, Jimmy CHOPS again! Boogs blocks the whip, reverses it, but Jimmy ducks to leap, into Boogs’ arms! Boogs curls Jimmy and fans count it out! Boogs stops at 9, takes a breath, and hits 10 for the SLAM! Fans fire up, Boogs drags Jimmy but Jimmy slips off and POSTS Boogs! Jimmy fires off on Boogs, has Boogs down and then stomps him! The Usos hold up the fingers, #WeTheOnes!
Jimmy uses headbutts to keep Boogs down, and he talks trash on Boogs. But Boogs trophy lifts even on his knees! Then Boogs stands back up, and he hits a FALL AWAY SLAM! Fans fire up while Boogs and Jimmy are both down! Wait, Theory is strolling back out. Theory doesn’t want beef with Nakamura, but he’s getting closer to McAfee. He takes some guy’s drink, sips it, and then SPLASHES McFee with the rest of it! Michael Cole gets McAfee to let Theory run off again, but BALOR attacks! Balor gets Theory in the ring, and it’s chaos! McAfee wants Balor to kick Theory’s ass while the match is thrown out and SmackDown goes to break!

HOLLA HOLLA! The Prince, the King of Strong Style and the rockin’ bard are all getting to go after Vince McMahon’s golden boy and the SmackDown Tag Team Champions! Which side will have all the momentum going into WrestleMania?
SmackDown returns as Theory is talking trash on McAfee while Nakamura pushes Jey to a cover. TWO, and Nakamura drops a knee! Cover again, TWO! Nakamura has Jey in a corner, for GOOD VIBRATIONS~! Nakamura lets off, then drags Jey up to fire off shots! Nakamura puts Jey on the top rope, rolls back, TOP SHELF KNEE! Cover, ONE! Nakamura drags Jey up but Jey ROCKS him with an uppercut! Theory tags in, he runs in to clothesline and knock Nakamura down! Slingshot STOMP, to a FISHERMAN BUSTER! Cover, TWO! Fans chant, “Theory Sucks!” and McAfee is all behind that!
Theory pushes Nakamura around, then he runs, into a KNEE! Nakamura tags Boogs, Boogs trophy lifts and presses Theory! But Theory slips off to kick low! Theory ROCKS Boogs, bumps him off buckles, and he still has to talk crap on McAfee. But Boogs gut wrenches and throws Theory around and around, McAfee calls it a carnival ride! Get him all kinds of dizzy! Gut Wrench Suplex! Cover, TWO! Boogs drags Theory over, tag to Balor! They mug Theory, Balor CHOPS and CHOPS and fires off on Theory! Balor bumps Theory off buckles, stomps him down, then lets off at the ref’s count. Balor snapmares and runs to basement dropkick! Cover, TWO!
McAfee says what a start to this weekend if that had finished it. Balor headlocks, Theory powers out, things speed up and Balor kicks Theory away! Theory staggers, distracts the ref with talk of his teeth, and Jimmy CLOBBERS Balor from the ropes! Fans boo as the Usos get away with that, and Theory stomps away on Balor, copying how Balor would do it! Theory scrapes Balor out, tags Jimmy in and Jimmy SMACKS Balor off the desk! Jimmy puts Balor in, covers, TWO! Jimmy chokes Balor on the ropes, lets off, and Jey gets his cheap shot in! Theory keeps smugly smirking at McAfee which pisses McAfee off.
Jimmy brings Balor up but Balor ROCKS him back! And again, and again! But Jimmy keeps Balor from his team! Balor fires forearms and keeps reaching, but Jimmy whips. Balor hits buckles hard and drops down. Theory and the Usos all say, “All Day,” and then Jimmy tosses Balor out. Fans boo but Theory taunts McAfee as SmackDown goes to break.
SmackDown returns again and Balor JAWBREAKERS free! He blocks Jimmy’s kick but gets the DRAGON WHIP! Cover, TWO! Balor gets up but Jimmy is right on him. Jimmy bumps Balor off buckles, fires off hands, but lets off as the ref counts. Jimmy mocks Bullet Club and runs in, but Balor dodges the splash! Jimmy hits post and then falls down! Fans fire up as Jimmy and Balor crawl, hot tag to Jey! Jey stomps Balor down, then SUPERKICKS Boogs! Fans boo as Jey taunts Nakamura, but Jey drags Balor up. But Balor back drops! Jey holds Balor back to sunset flip, but Balor rolls through to basement dropkick!
Fans rally up, Balor and Jey crawl, hot tags to Theory and Nakamura! Nakamura dodges Theory, Theory ducks a kick but not the WHEEL KICK! Nakamura sees Jimmy get in and gives him a KNEE! AX KICK! Then Nakamura DECKS Jey! Strike Fest for Theory, as well as KICK after KICK! Theory blocks one but not the ENZIGURI! Nakamura whips Theory corner to corner, runs in but blocks boots! Nakamura puts Theory in ropes, ROUNDHOUSE and SLIDING GERMAN! Cover, DOUBLE SUPERKICKS break it! The Usos high-five, but then Boogs DUMPS them both out! The Usos drag Boogs out with them to RAM him into steps!
Theory is up again, but so is Balor! Nakamura sees Balor, Theory is too slow to stopping him, hot tag back to Balor! The Prince rallies on Theory and fans fire up! Balor clotheslines Theory out, then he builds speed to FLY! Direct hit on Theory and the Usos! Balor puts Theory back in, runs and SLINGBLADES him down! Then he takes aim, SHOTGUN DROPKICK! Theory is down, Balor fights off the Usos to go up top, but Theory trips Balor up! Fireman’s carry and A T L!! Cover, Theory and the Usos win!

And Theory stares McAfee down the whole time. McAfee throws off his headset, goes to the apron, but Theory wants him to attack. Theory offers a free shot, Cole wants McAfee to cool off, and McAfee keeps a level head. McAfee returns to the desk, because he wants to keep this match on the books. Will McAfee be able to take this all out on Theory when WrestleMania Sunday finally rolls around?
Happy Corbin & Mad Cap Moss head to the ring.
They bring Angela the sword with them, because this WrestleMania SmackDown edition of Happy Talk has the sword as its special guest! What horrible jokes are these two human hyenas going to hurt our ears with? We find out, after the break.
SmackDown returns and Moss has the mic to welcome us to Happy Talk. Tonight is an extra special edition, it’ll be extra happy! Isn’t Corbin happy for Moss? Moss thinks the whole WWE Universe is happy for him, because he just won the Andre the Giant- Yeah, yeah, we get it, you won. As Corbin’s protégé, that’s what Corbin expects. Now Corbin could look back and say how he did it in 2016 as part of his WWE RawDown debut. But Corbin IS happy. He is euphoric! He might even be Euphoric Corbin after WrestleMania. And that’s because he has McIntyre’s sword! A recap package shows how he stole it during WrestleMania Raw’s 2v1 Handicap.
The Happy Folks have a good laugh as Corbin says this sword is going to be his lucky charm. Not that he needs luck. Look what he’s done at WrestleMania. He won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, he retired Kurt Angle, and tomorrow, he will destroy McIntyre once and for all! So this sword is really more an insurance policy so that no one messes with him. With McIntyre, it was a fancy accessory. But in Corbin’s hand, it is a dangerous weapon! He could decapitate someone with it! IT’s named Angela after Corbin’s late mother. How sad! This sword needs a new, happier name! “Everyone, meet… Euphoria!”
Mad Cap, give us a joke. No, wait. Corbin has a joke! What does McIntyre’s sword and McIntyre’s mom have in common? He lost them both! Fans boo, that is a lowbrow joke. But here comes MCINTYRE!! And he’s anything but laughing. Moss hurries out but McIntyre DECKS him! Corbin’s stunned and fans tell him he’s F’d up! McIntyre gets a chair! Corbin tells McIntyre he doesn’t want this! Corbin could hurt him! McIntyre TOSSES the chair at Corbin’s head! Then he grabs Angela and swings her at him! Corbin barely gets away, so McIntyre starts throwing the armchairs and velvet ropes out!

My Thoughts:
Wow, I thought WrestleMania Raw was disappointing. And I even feel like I was generous giving that one an 8 outta 10. They put on BOTH advertised matches in the first half hour! I would’ve at least thought the title match would be in the second hour. I guess opening with the battle royal makes sense, it gets time to breathe, and it sets up how tonight ended. Moss is great in the ring, but this was solely a story based win. It allowed Corbin to say all that in his promo during Happy Talk, and of course McIntyre was going to storm out there and take his sword back. I’m thinking McIntyre defies go-home math and wins to finally shut Corbin up.
The Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat was booked just how I figured it would be: Los Lotharios make it a handicap match for the majority, but they start to argue when it finally comes to going for the cover, and that allows Ricochet to win. What a great spot going right from 630 senton to Recoil. Ricochet of course retains, and hopefully they actually book him better after this. Them plugging the Women’s Fatal 4 Way Tag was rather ridiculous. Wasn’t having all four teams present the plug itself? Why do they think people only watch SmackDown and not Raw? Waste of time, and they also went back to giving us short matches. I continue to fear Mella & Vega retain when we have better teams in the match with them.
SO MUCH recaps I had to skip tonight. Yes, all well produced, outside of maybe Lesnar VS Roman having Metallica’s Death Magnetic and All Nightmare Long far past their relevancy. Ronda had a decent promo with Kayla but probably because she was able to get a few takes in before the one we saw. And Charlotte had a decent promo that just kinda rehashed the usual Heel tropes of putting herself over, putting Ronda down and reminding us what Charlotte’s down. Chances are, having both women’s titles on the same night means Becky and Ronda retain, one of them confronts the other and that sets up Becky VS Ronda 1v1, three years after their feud going into WM35.
There was decent integration between the Theory-McAfee story and Jimmy VS Boogs. Going from 1v1 to a Six Man was fine because it gave us a really good match. But of course Theory gets a win pinning Balor, and he’s got the momentum going into his match. I would hope McAfee wins for that reason, but there’s any which way Theory could still win despite the math. Not that it’ll matter, Vince clearly wants Theory to face Balor more and take that US title off him, even though Priest is still owed a shot. Hell, Priest should’ve been given his title shot for Mania, but nope, Vince doesn’t care about midcard titles or Balor while he has Lesnar VS Roman coming.

The House clears out the rest of Hontai while Douki CLAWS at Tiger Mask’s face and, well, mask! They all stomp away on the living legend, then stand him up. But Tiger SOBATS Douki! Douki blocks the next kick, and LOW BLOWS Tiger! Then Douki snatches the mask away!! Tiger drops down to cover his face while the fans boo Douki for this disgrace! Young Lions use their shirts to cover Tiger Mask, and out rush Shota, Wato & Yoh! The House retreats, taking the mask as their prize! Hontai helps Tiger Mask stand up, head covered in shirts. Tiger Mask then gets the mic to call out Douki!
Tiger Mask tells Douki, “Is this the only kind of match you can do? So, you can’t do it without using your teammates, you bastard?! I don’t know what to say, but if that’s what you want, then I’ll turn our title match into a LUMBERJACK MATCH!” The fans like the sound of that! Tiger Mask says Douki can choose how many to bring, because it won’t matter! Tiger Mask is gonna sink Douki in this ring, remember that! The fans cheer as the stakes have been raised, but will this gamble only work in the House’s favor? Or can Tiger Mask win the title and retire on top?

Eagles whips Taiji into Fujita’s ENZIGIRI! Then Fujita springboards, MISSILE DROPKICK BACK SUPLEX COMBO! Bridging cover, TWO! Tag back to Fujita and he feeds Taiji to Eagles. But Taiji mule kicks Fujita away! Eagles knees and whips Taiji, but X tags in!

Goto dodges, ROCKS Yuto, but Yuto comes back to ROCK Goto! They go forearm for forearm already, but Goto headlocks. Yuto powers up and out but Goto RUNS him over! The fans cheer while Yuto flounders away. Goto kicks and fires off forearms in the corner! The fans fire up with Goto as he whips Yuto corner to corner. Yuto comes right back to CLOBBER Goto! Oskar runs in and BLASTS Yashi! The fans fire up for KOB as they stand Goto up.
KOB double whips but Goto grabs the ropes! Goto DUMPS Oskar out, BOOTS Yuto, then Hashi WRECKS Oskar with a dropkick while Goto RUNS Yuto over! Hashi keeps moving, ZANMAI! Goto drags Yuto back up so he and Hashi can “SE~ NO!” BANG THE DRUM! The fans cheer as Yuto writhes! Hashi flexes while Goto stomps Yuto. Goto bumps Yuto off buckles, tags Hashi in, and they dig their boots in. Red Shoes reprimands, then counts, and Bishamon backs off at 4. Hashi drags Yuto up but Yuto ROCKS Hashi! And ROCKS him again! And again! Hashi spins through to CHOP Yuto! Hashi also SMACKS Oskar!
Oskar snarls but stays on the corner as Hashi CHOPS Yuto! Hashi tags Goto, Goto stomps Yuto, then Goto brings Yuto around to CLUB him down. Goto eggs Yuto on, then whips him to ropes. Yuto reverses, and Oskar catches Goto into a SLEEPER! Yuto BOOTS Goto down, then BLASTS Hashi! The fans rally and duel again as Yuto stands Goto up. Yuto bumps Goto off Oskar’s boot, then tags Oskar in. Oskar steps up and over, still impressive to the fans, and he CHOPS Goto down! Oskar circles Goto, drags him up, and CHOPS him back down! Oskar pushes Goto to the cover, TWO! The fans applaud as Goto toughs it out.
Oskar paces around Goto, drags him up, then THROWS him into the corner! Tag to Yuto and KOB mugs Goto. The fans rally as Yuto snapmares Goto, covers, TWO! Yuto sits Goto up to KICK him in the back! Yuto taunts Goto, kicks him around, and drags him up. Goto CHOPS, and CHOPS, and CHOPS! Yuto SMACKS Goto back down! Tag back to Oskar and he drags Goto around, into a CAMEL CLUTCH! Yuto BLASTS Hashi while Goto endures the stretch! Goto gets one arm free but Oskar keeps on the hold. The fans rally as Goto fights his way over, and manages the ROPEBREAK! Red Shoes counts, Oskar lets go, and Oskar hauls Goto up.
Yuto joins in but Goto BOOTS him away! Oskar shoves Goto to the corner, runs up, but Goto dodges! Oskar hits buckles, and Goto crawls for his corner! Oskar runs up, but Goto avoids the leg drop, brother! Goto continues to crawl while the fans rally up, hot tag to Hashi! The fans fire up as Hashi runs up on Oskar, ELBOW! Whip and- NO, Oskar reverses to send Hashi into the corner! Oskar runs up, but Hashi dodges the splash! Hashi comes back to LARIAT, then he whips, only for Oskar to reverse again! Hashi sunset flips, but Oskar stays standing! Only for Hashi to avoid the elbow drop! Hashi basement DROPKICKS!
The fans fire up as Hashi BLASTS Yuto! Hashi roars, the fans cheer, and Hashi circles the giant German. Hashi brings Oskar up and reels him in, but Oskar fights the suplex! Oskar powers free, scoops Hashi, but Hashi slips free to CHOP! And ROCK! Hashi roars, runs, but Oskar reels him in! HUGE mat slam, then the ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Hashi toughs it out but Oskar snarls as he stands back up. Oskar stands Hashi up, and with both hands, HANGING NECK- DDT COUNTER! Hashi turns things around on Oskar and the fans rally up again! Hashi goes to a corner, then he runs up on Oskar, only for Oskar to scoop and SLAM!
The fans fire up while both men crawl, and Oskar hot tags Yuto! Yuto swaggers over to Hashi, stomps him down, then stands him up. Hashi fires body shots but Yuto DECKS him for it! Yuto drags Hashi back up, whips him to ropes, but Hashi DROPKICKS the leg! Yuto falls over and the fans rally again! Hashi crawls, hot tag to Goto! Goto RUNS Yuto over! And ELBOWS him down! And whips, only for Yuto to reverse! Goto still RUNS Yuto over! Goto runs to ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Yuto is tougher than that but Goto brings him right up. But Yuto fights the fireman’s carry with elbows! Goto swings, Yuto fires hands in return!
Yuto bobs ‘n’ weaves to SMACK Goto with palm strikes! Yuto backs Goto down to a corner, KNEES him low, then SOBATS! Goto sits, Yuto gets gangsta! “BOMBACLAT!” DOUBLE KNEES! Yuto then drags Goto to the cover, TWO! The fans cheer as Goto toughs it out. Yuto stays close, and he sits Goto up. Yuto runs, ICE- NO! Goto blocks the kick! But Yuto ROKCS Goto! Yuto runs, but into the fireman’s carry! USHIGOROSHI! Hashi returns to BLAST Oskar! Hashi calls to Goto and they get Yuto up! Fireman’s carry, FIERCE FLASH! The fans rally as Bishamon brings Yuto back up, dragon sleeper and leg lift! But Oskar LCUBS Hashi!
Oskar kicks Goto, runs the ropes, but Goto follows! Goto LARIATS, but Oskar stays up! Hashi SUPERKICKS, but Oskar is still up! Bishamon double whips, but Oskar DOUBLE LARIATS! The fans fire up as all four men are down! Oskar bails out, but Yuto and Bishamon are all still down. Red Shoes ushers Hashi out of the ring, and he checks as Yuto and Goto crawl to corners. The fans rally up as both men rise. Yuto runs up, but Goto puts him right up top! DRAPING GTR!! But Goto can’t make the cover! The fans rally as both men crawl again, and Goto uses the ropes to stand up. Goto roars, aims, and BUZZSAW!

Goto ducks the haymaker, but Yuto blocks the saido, short arm LARIAT! The fans rally as both men are down again! Goto and Yuto crawl, reach out, and hot tag to Hashi and Oskar! They both run up, but Oskar RUNS Hashi over! Oskar motions to calm down, and he grins as he brings Hashi up. Oskar whips Hashi corner to corner hard, and Hashi bounces off the buckles before landing on the mat! Hashi writhes but Oskar storms over to him.
Oskar drags Hashi up, whips corner to corner again, and just as hard! Hashi again bounces off buckles and writhes on the mat. The fans rally while Oskar takes his time walking over to Hashi. Oskar taunts Hashi, stands him up, and whips, but Hashi rebounds to LARIAT! The fans fire up as Hashi and Oskar both wobble. Oskar CLUBS Hashi down! Oskar drags Hashi up, Yuto joins in, but Hashi BOOTS Yuto away! Hashi CLUBS away on Oskar, but Oskar blocks the lariat! Yuto ROCKS Hashi, then he and Oskar hit THE RUMBLING BOMB!! Cover, but Goto breaks it! Yuto fires off on Goto, TOSSES him out, then regroups with Oskar.
Yuto & Oskar call for the end, and they haul Hashi up! Feed to Oskar, but Hashi SHOTGUNS him first! Hashi stands but AMBITION RIGHT hits first! Then ICE HIGH! Yuto calls to Oskar and they try again. Feed, scoop, and- GOTO LARIATS YUTO! Hashi victory rolls Oskar! TWO!! Goto PENALTY KICKS Oskar down! The fans fire up as Bishamon still has life! Oskar rises in a corner, and Goto sends Hashi in for a LARIAT! Then Goto adds MURAMASA! Goto climbs, Hashi lifts, and somehow, they hit the DANGEROUS LIBRA!! Cover off the super bulldog, but YUTO BREAKS IT! The fans fire up as all four men are down!
The fans rally up as Goto brings Yuto around. Yuto DECKS Goto, kicks him out, but Hashi LARIATS Yuto! The fans fire up again as Hashi roars! Hashi runs at Oskar in the corner and LARIATS! Then he brings Oskar in, hooks a leg, but Oskar fights the lift! Oskar fires body shots, Hashi staggers back, but Hashi LARIATS again! And SUPERKICKS! Oskar wobbles but he roars as he runs back up! Hashi dodges a boot, and he LARIATS Oskar down! Cover, TWO! Oskar is tougher than that but the fans fire up again. Hashi feeds off the energy and he powers up like Goto would! SUPERKICK! Hashi roars, and he brings Oskar back up!
Hashi hooks the leg, and KUMAGOROSHI!! Cover, TWO!!! Oskar survives, with Yuto so close and yet so far because of Goto! Goto throws Yuto back out, then brings Oskar back up. The fans fire up as Goto dragon sleepers and Hashi lifts the legs! But Oskar flails and fights free of Hashi! Oskar powers out of the dragon sleeper, but Hashi HEADBUTTS him down! Yuto fires off on Goto, then runs, but into a fireman’s carry! Hashi is back, FIERCE FLASH into the dragon sleeper! Hashi has the legs, but Oskar has a SLEEPER on Hashi! Hashi is stuck in The Nightmare Hold while Goto fights Yuto off.
Hashi RAMS Oskar into a corner, Goto LARIATS! Hashi LARIATS! Then Hashi goes up while Goto clinches! SUPER GOTO GO TO HUNTER! The fans fire up again as Hashi SMACKS Yuto down! Bishamon roars as they get Oskar back up and in, but Oskar again kicks free! But Hashi CODE BREAKERS! Goto dragon sleepers, Hashi has the legs, and this time for sure! SHOTO!! Cover, YUTO BREAKS IT!!! The fans are thunderous as Yuto saves Oskar with nanoseconds to spare! Red Shoes checks all four guys as they stir, and the fans rally up again. Hashi sits up first, he calls to Goto, and Goto pushes up off the mat.
The fans cheer as Bishamon roars! They stand up, and Hashi brings Yuto around. But Yuto fires forearms and elbows! But then Hashi mule kicks! Goto clinches, Hashi runs, but Yuto sends Goto into Hashi! Then he ROCKS Goto! Goto ROCKS Ice, but Ice ROCKS Goto! The fans get fired up with every forearm! Yuto swings, but Goto spins him, URA GTR! Then Goto runs, but Yuto blocks the lariat to ROUNDHOUSE! Then he blocks the ridge hand! Oskar is up, Yuto sends Goto to him! Scoop and K O B DRIVER!! But they can’t make the cover! The fans are thunderous again as Yuto snarls and Oskar rises!
Yuto brings Hashi up, sends him to Oskar, but Hashi ROCKS Oskar first! Then he ROCKS Yuto! Hashi CHOPS Yuto, ROCKS him again and again, then DOUBLE CHOPS! Hashi runs, but Yuto dodges! Oskar scoops! Hashi slips free to SHOVE Oskar into Yuto! Half nelson, KARMA CRADLE! TWO!! CRUELLA!! The fans are thunderous again as all four men are back down! Yuto roars, he drags Hashi up, and the fans rally behind him! Goto anchors Yuto’s leg, then drags himself up. Yuto stares Goto down before he DECKS him! Red Shoes reprimands about closed fists, but Yuto just roars! Feed to Oskar for the scoop, K O B DRIVER!!! Cover, KOB wins!!

Goto & Hashi put up the fight you’d expect from former tag team champions, but they are still just former tag team champions! What will it take for them to #TurnItAllAround now that they’ve fallen behind?
As for the champs, it takes them a moment to stand back up, but they do stand for Red Shoes to raise their hands in victory. Yuto then sits back down before getting the mic. Yuto calls to Bishamon and asks they wait a moment. Yuto knows normally, the losers have nothing to say, but he wants them to hear this. He was fortunate to see their matches, and knows their philosophy of pushing forward, never giving up, and being able to turn things around. Yuto’s opinion is that even as a Young Lion in the black trunks, he thought of them as incredible strong, warm-hearted, and straightforward guys. The fans applaud that.
Yuto says if Bishamon felt the pure essence of pro-wrestling, then please come again, KOB will do this any time. The fans also applaud that, and Oskar helps Yuto stand up. Yuto continues by saying, “See you again.” Bishamon exits, and Yuto says his body aches and creaks from all that damage. But right now, being alive and being a pro-wrestler is the most fun he’s ever had! He is pretty sure pro-wrestling exists just so Yuto can live. Maybe, you guys who also love pro-wrestling feel the same. The fans cheer that, too! Yuto says he and they are all lucky, cuz pro-wrestling is an escape. If anything happens, they can always come back to wrestling!
Yuto is a huge fan of wrestling! He knows the fans cameramen, the staff, everyone in this company and in this industry in general, are all fans, too! So don’t worry, whatever your crappy reality is, pro-wrestling can save you from it. The fans cheer, that, too! Yuto promises that watching wrestling, you don’t have to think. A false version of himself is rubbish. Only raw emotion shows the real! Just feel! When you want to feel truly alive, watch pro-wrestling! The fans applaud again, and Yuto knows all you guys should just shut up and spend your time and money on Yuto & Oskar! You won’t lose anything, they ARE pro-wrestling!
The fans cheer again, and Yuto says it may vary from person to person. Whether it is work, school, home, or whatever else! As a reward, let’s share pro-wrestling together! Yuto has Oskar by his side, but also all of you “addicts!” The fans applaud, and Yuto says KOB is big money! They’re the best team in the world! And from now on, don’t think, just feel! LET’S GET HIGH! Tch tch, BIG UP! Oskar & Ice continue to reign, will there ever be a team that can keep up with their high?
My Thoughts:
A great Wrestling Redzone in the middle of the Road to Wrestling Dontaku, and I fully admit to forgetting about the first part of said Road to Wrestling Dontaku. Very good stuff in Tiger Mask escalating things for him and Douki, and I believe the House of Torture was also involved in NJPW’s previous Lumberjack Match, so maybe that tradition can replace the Bullet Club War Dogs’ Dog Kennel Cage Match. But it sounds like it’ll just be a reason to have everyone already ringside for when Tiger Mask loses his last chance at the title, because I don’t see NJPW changing tradition. Even so, it’ll be an awesome match with Tiger Mask giving it his all until the very end.
Speaking of, we got that out of the tag title matches tonight. I didn’t think TMDK would win the belts back already, but this adds to the great rivalry between them and Super Extreme. Super Extreme could make number four the one they finally win, it all just fits so well. And great match from KOB VS Bishamon. However, given it was Bishamon, who not only had their run as tag champions but are also Six Man Champions with Boltin Oleg, KOB was naturally winning here. Great stuff for them, and there are some good possibilities for who faces them next, so we’ll see where they go for Dontaku and beyond.

FTR make their entrance, and the Veterans Memorial Coliseum isn’t exactly happy about it. Stokely leads the way into the ring and they get the mics. Cash starts off by saying, “Big Cope, we saw the challenge you laid out, very interesting. Very interseting indeed. So I know you probably think you’re gonna pull one over on us, that you’re gonna trick us into accepting this, but all you really had to do was bring something, anything to the table to entice us. And I gotta say, you saying that if you lose again to FTR, that you will no longer team? That sounds pretty enticing to me. So I’m not gonna drag this out. Challenge accepted!”
The fans cheer that, and Dax says of course Cope would say he deserves the rematch. But why? Because of some success they had 25 YEARS ago? Dax will lay a little cold, hard truth on Cope & Christian. Nobody wants them here! The fans boo that, but Dax says FTR doesn’t want them here! The locker room doesn’t want them here! As dumb as these fans are, they’re smart enough to know that they don’t want C&C here! No one associated with AEW wants C&C here! And now, give Dax a moment. Cope didn’t have to play his little mind games like challenging their man hoods. All they had to do was put their careers on the line.
The fans boo more, but Dax says the New York Street Fight sounds great to them, but let’s do it one better! If they’re gonna have this match with all this riding on the line… Dax wants there to be no more questions! No more debate! New York Street Fight, I QUIT STYLE! Dax wants C&C’s wives, daughters, dogs, and God Almighty to hear the one thing that is embarrassing to every man: Five letters, two words, “I QUIT!” And then after that, C&C, you can go on about your way, this here is done. Continue on with your nostalgia run while FTR goes on as the greatest tag team to EVER do this! Now the ball is in your court, Cope. #TopGuysOut.
The fans boo, but FTR saw the tag careers and raised them their dignity! Will Cope & Cage call that bet as we all go Double or Nothing? But as FTR takes their exit, The Conglomeration makes their entrance! FTR gets in their face, so The Conglomeration SHOVES them down! Will Cassidy, Roddy & Kyle show FTR what a real team looks like? Or will the Don Callis Family add more gold to the treasury?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see which eclectic combination is a winning combination!
The trios sort out and Kyle starts against the Alchemist of Lucha. The bell rings as Kyle and Hechi circle, feel things out, and tie up. Kyle slips around to wrench and wristlock, but Hechi powers through to headlock. Kyle slips out, drops down, tangles up the leg but Hechi makes it a cover! ONE, and Kyle drags Hechi down. Hechi slips through, but so does Kyle. Kyle goes to a headlock but Hechi makes it a facelock. Kyle wrenches, headlocks again, but Hechi powers up and fires body shots. Hechi powers out, then catches Kyle for the ROPE SLEEPER! The fans are torn but Conglomeration protests. The ref counts, Hechi lets go at 4.
Hechi blocks a kick, ROCKS Kyle, then DRAGON SLEEPERS the leg! Kyle hobbles away but Hechi KICKS him! Hechi gets the leg again, but Kyle wrenches through to an ELBOW BREAKER! Kyle BOOTS Hechi to the corner, tag to Roddy, and they KICK and CHOP on repeat! Tag to Cassidy, he pushes Hechi for Roddy to scoop. BACKBREAKER and… Cassidy hops down to ELBOW DROP! The fans cheer as Cassidy flexes. But then Hechi tags Archer! Murderhawk Monster tells Freshly Squeezed he done messed up. Cassidy takes his sunglasses off, nods, and he tags Roddy! The fans cheer as Roddy CHOPS and fires off!
Archer shoves Roddy, Roddy ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Archer CLOBBERS Roddy! The fans rally as Roddy dodges Archer, tags to Andrade and Cassidy! The fans cheer as Cassidy and “The Real Latino Man” stare down. Cassidy puts his hands up, but Andrade keeps them from the pockets. Andrade says hold on as he takes off the belt. But then Andrade wags his finger, they’re not getting the full Andrade. But Cassidy fires off “devastating” kicks! The fans fire up as Cassidy then YANKS the belt away! Andrade runs up, but Cassidy dodges to PANTS Andrade1 the fans fire up as Cassidy runs and SHOTGUNS Andrade down!
Cassidy kips up, the fans fire up, and Cassidy puts Andrade in a corner. Tag to Kyle, he climbs up, and Kyle rains down fists! The fans count along, and Kyle goes all the way to TEN! Kyle then tags Roddy, Roddy climbs up, and he rains down fists, and goes to TEN very quickly! Tag to Cassidy, he climbs up, and he rains down ONE! The fans cheer again and Cassidy winds it up. Andrade is outside, but he dodges Kyle! Archer CLOBBERS Kyle! Roddy runs, but Hechi trips him up! Cassidy BLATSS Andrade but Roddy is sent into the desk! Andrade returns to CLOBBER Cassidy, and then he flexes.
Andrade YANKS Cassidy’s shirt away as payback for the pants, but Collision goes picture in picture.
Andrade puts the Cassidy shirt on, then TOSSES Cassidy out! Andrade goes out after Cassidy, SMACKS him off barriers, then finds another lovely lady in the audience. She takes the Cassidy shirt off Andrade before she takes her selfie with him. Andrade makes sure to also get the selfie of Archer beating up Cassidy. Andrade puts Cassidy back in, Hechi POSTS Roddy, and Andrade covers Cassidy, TWO! Cassidy survives but Andrade stomps him down! Andrade drags Cassidy up by the ear, bumps him off buckles, then he tags Hechi. Hechi hammerlocks and swings Cassidy for the MAD SCIENTIST BOMB! Cover, TWO!
Hechi argues the count but the ref says it was fair. Hechi clamps onto Cassidy with another hammerlock and he brings Cassidy over. Tag to Andrade and they mug Cassidy. Hechi kicks Cassidy down, Archer stomps Cassidy, too, all while Andrade taunts Roddy. The ref has to keep Roddy back, but that lets Archer CHOKE Cassidy! Hechi gets another shot in while Playoff Palooza returns to single picture. Andrade whisp Cassidy into the corner, tags Hechi, and Hechi fires fast hands. Hechi ROCKS Cassidy, Andrade runs up, but Cassidy BOOTS him! And BOOTS Hechi! Cassidy goes up, fires elbows on Archer, then hits a DOUBLE RANA on Andrade y Hechi!
The fans rally but Archer is right in! Archer drags Cassidy back, wags his fingers at The Conglomeration, but Cassidy DUMPS Archer out! Hot tag to Kyle! Kyle BOOTS Hechi, goes up, and FLYING KNEES! Then a BOOT for Andrade, followed by a ROUNDHOUSE, KICK, and a strike fest! Leg sweep and Kyle circles Andrade. Hechi DROPKICKS Kyle! Hechi whips, Roddy tags, and Kyle slips around. Hechi and Kyle switch back and forth, but Kyle ELBOWS Hechi down. Roddy jumps in, he and Kyle run, forearm for Andrade and knee for HEchi! Then they trade! Roddy then weaponizes Cassidy, and he THRWOS him into Andrade!
Roddy whisp Cassidy into Hechi, then scoops to RAM him into Andrade! But Archer grabs them both! But Kyle KICKS away on Archer’s leg! Then Roddy puts Cassidy on Archer’s shoulder, Kyle gives it a push start, TORNADO DDT on Archer! Archer tumbles away, Roddy stomps him, but Hechi BOOTS Roddy! Roddy kicks and CHOPS in return! Roddy whips Hechi but Hechi reverses. Hechi runs up, but into the BOOT! Roddy clinches, Kyle KICKS Hechi, and Roddy hits the ANGLE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Hechi survives but the fans rally as Roddy tags Kyle. Kyle & Roddy double whip, but Andrade sneaks the tag!
Hechi slips around Kyle to shove him into Roddy! Andrade rushes Roddy for a LARIAT, Hechi LARIATS Kyle! They sit Kyle down, Hechi JUMP KNEES Roddy! Andrade soaks up the cheers before he gives Kyle CIEN KNEES! Cover, TWO! Kyle survives but Andrade is amused. Andrade brings Kyle up, around, and snap suplexes! That’s Uno Amigo, and Andrade snap suplexes for Dos! And then some Latino Heat, and THREE- NO, Kyle knees free! Kyle dodges, hot tag to Cassidy! Cassidy runs to tilt-o-whirl, but Andrade stops the DDT! But then Cassidy cradle counters, TWO! Andrade brings Cassidy up, but Cassidy STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRES!
The fans rally as both men crawl, but Andrade hot tags Archer! CROSSBODY on Cassidy! Dragon sleeper on Roddy, guzel on Kyle, CHOKE SLAM DDT COMBO! The fans rally as Archer whips Cassidy, scoops him, but Cassidy slips free of the crucifix! Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges, but runs into the HELLICOASTER! Cover, but Roddy & Kyle break it! Andrade y Hechi rush in, but Roddy & Kyle send them back out! Roddy WERCKS Andrade with a dropkick! Kyle storms in, Roddy joins him, but Archer guzels them both! But Cassidy guzels Archer! It was a powerful fight for the champs, but they’re still the champs! And then they wind up to high-five! You GOT to give the people what they want! But will Cassidy, Kyle & Roddy stay on top as the stars of the trios division? Or will someone come along and completely flip the script?

The Death Riders are still carrying a semi-conscious Ospreay, as we saw them do after the medical/referee stoppage against Mark Davis. They place Ospreay in a chair, and Moxley takes a seat across from him. Yuta splashes water on Ospreay to wake him up, and Marina puts a towel around him. She wraps it around, gives it some strong tugs, and then a neck massage? Moxley says she’s good, huh? Then he asks Ospreay, “What is it you’re trying to accomplish?” Breaking Moxley’s neck? Breaking his own neck? When Ospreay goes to the ring, when he gets up in the morning, where is Ospreay trying to go? Who is Ospreay trying to be? What is it Ospreay is chasing?
Moxley doesn’t think Ospreay even knows the answers to those questions anymore. It was almost seven years ago that Moxley saw Ospreay for the first time. The power Ospreay wields and the ability Ospreay has… Mind, flesh, blood, muscle, bone. It will all break eventually. You try to run through a brick wall as much as you want, the wall doesn’t go anywhere. But if you step back and realize there is a door, you can walk right through it and become whoever you want on the other side. This, the mind, can be trained, honed properly, so that it will not break. You take dominion over your mind, and you can become a weapon like pro-wrestling has never seen.
But this thing between them has to come to a head one way or another. So they can settle up. Moxley puts a steel chair between them. Ospreay can be just like everyone else. Or, he can become everything he was meant to be. Moxley kisses the ground as he lies down, and he says it is Ospreay’s choice. Ospreay picks up the chair, looks it over, and looks as the Death Riders step back. Ospreay has the cameraman leave, but why? Does Ospreay go through with the easy route of taking Moxley out? Or does he accept The Maniac’s offer and see how far down the rabbit hole he can go?

Well, Moxley and Marina are here, so Ospreay didn’t crush Moxley with the chair. The Maniac joins commentary as his solders, as well as their associates in The Dogs, are about to wage war with two teams that stand in their way of glory. But will the Death Riders & Dogs run roughshod through Matt, Nick, Dez, Zach & Myron? Or are we about to have the most lit Superkick Party ever?
The teams sort out and Dez starts against Yuta. The fans rally as the two circle, talk some trash, but then The Dogs attack! The fans boo but they and the Death Riders all beat up on Bucks & Rascalz! Garcia goes after Nick while Finlay TOSSES Matt. Claudio traps Dez, Yuta sends Finlay in for an UPPERCUT! Yuta ELBOWS, Garcia LARIATS, Connors RAMS, and Claudio UPPERCUTS! The Cycle of Violence is five strong, but Nick goes up to CROSSOBDY! But Yuta & Claudio catch him, and then pop him up for the BACKBREAKER! Now the Cycle o Violence starts up on Nick! UPPERCUT, UPPERCUT, RAM, ELBOW, and LARIAT misses!
Matt drags Claudio out, Zach has Finlay, and Myron has Connors. The Rascalz RAM The Dogs into the barriers, but Claudio SHOVES Matt! But then Matt dodges to send Claudio into barriers! Now the Cycle of Violence is turned around on Garcia as Dez UPPERCUTS, Zach DROPKICKS, and Zach pops Myron up so he can go out and in, CODE BREAKER! Zach goes up to DOUBLE STOMP! Jack survives whatever you wanna call that combination, but Clon vows to end this! Clon copies Jack, “SACRIFICE!” But Jack dodges Clon to send him to a corner! Clon goes up and over, MATRIX PELE! Clon then reels Jack back in, POWER- RANA!! Cover, TWO!! Jack handsprings through, comes back, but into a LUMBAR CHECK!
Clon hooks Jack up, MADE IN CYBERSPACE!! Cover, TWO?!? Jack survives the half nelson package piledriver and Clon is stunned! Clon drags Jack to the drop zone, then goes to the ropes! CLONSAULT but onto knees! Jack runs in, goes up and over, GERMAN SUPLEX! Then the GLASS JAW BREAKER KNEE!! Cover, Jack wins!
Winner: “Jungle” Jack Perry, by pinfall (still AEW National Champion)

Samoa Joe is happy to see “Speak ‘n’ Spell” Shibata again, and he asks what Hook’s been up to. Hook says he’s been holding it down, recruiting for them, that kinda stuff. Aight, cool. Speaking of which, Anthony Bowens steps in and says they’re just the people he was looking for. Bowens welcomes Joe back, and reminds Hook that he said he’d have an answer by “next week.” Turns out, that’s tonight. Bowens is getting tired of waiting, he needs an answer. Is he in The Opps or not? Hook says Bowens needs to take a step back. There is one problem: No more vacancies! Joe asks Bowens, “Do you hear him? Was he clear enough for you? There’s no more vacancies in The Opps.
“Because it sounds like we found our newest one.” Bowens smiles as he and Joe shake hands on it. Hook seems a bit surprised, but he says Bowens passed the test. Welcome to the crew. Bowens smiles, will The 5 Tool Player be just the thing The Opps need to rise back up in AEW?
Six Man Tag: Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate w/ MVP VS The Demand!
The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla returned “home” to AEW, only for Ricochet, Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun to rain on his parade. And after ruining his return to PPV, bald, Ricochet had the audacity to say losing to him was Jericho’s new gimmick. But Ricochet made quite the miscalculation saying no one wanted to team with Jericho to face them. The Demo God called upon the All Mighty & The Standard of Excellence not because they like each other, but because they all despise The Demand! So now, will Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate put the hurt on Bald, Dumb & Ugly? Or will The Demand find a way to add Lashley & Shelton to their list?
The trios sort out and MVP joins commentary while Jericho keeps the fans fired up. Jericho steps up to start against Ricochet, they circle, but then Ricochet tags Kaun. Kaun tags Liona, and they threaten Jericho 3v1. But duh, Lashley & Shelton step in! The fans cheer as these six stare down, and Jericho gets the fans even hotter! Then the brawl is on! The fans cheer as Jericho goes after Ricochet, Lashley throat chops Liona, and Shelton fires off on Kaun! Jericho CHOPS Ricochet, Ricochet fires hands, and Kaun fires shots on Shelton! Shelton just frowns, then ROCKS Kaun! Jericho CLUBS Ricochet but Ricochet CHOPS back!
Ricochet runs up but Jericho TOSSES him out! Shelton ROCKS Kaun, Kaun kicks low, Jericho WRECKS Ricochet with a dropkick! The fans cheer as Shelton STEP-UP KNEES Liona! Lashley RAMS Kaun! Then NECKBREAKER! Lashley LARIATS Kaun up and out, and the fans fire up as Shelton dodges Liona! Shelton comes back to SATELLITE DDT! Liona tumbles out and the fans cheer again. Jericho joins Lashley & Shelton in the ring, then Jericho climbs up! Jericho aims, shrugs, and SUPER CROSSBODIES! Down goes The Demand and the fans fire up again! Jericho is loving it, and so is The Hurt Syndicate, as Collision goes picture in picture.
Jericho stands with Shelton & Lashley, hands raised as if they’ve won already. Ricochet sputters while Jericho keeps the fans chanting. Jericho goes out to line up another shot, and he AX- NO, Liona catches him and POSTS him! Jericho hobbles, Liona runs up on him, and LARIATS him down! Liona storms around, drags Jericho up, and Liona whips Jericho hard into railing! Kaun and Liona high-five and throw up the three for Demand. The ref reprimands but The Demand regroups. Liona tags Ricochet, Ricochet SMACKS Jericho off the apron, then shoves him in the ring. Ricochet AX HANDLES Jericho down, then clamps on a Ground Cobra Twist!
Jericho endures, Ricochet CLUBS him down, then Ricochet THROWS Jericho by his hair! The ref reprimands but Ricochet tags Kaun. The Demand mugs Jericho, Kaun CHOSP him, then Kaun RAMS Jericho int he corner again and again! The ref counts, Kaun tags Ricochet back in, and they continue to mug Jericho. Ricochet clamps on the Ground Cobra Twist again but Jericho endures. Playoff Palooza returns to single picture as the fans rally. Jericho fights up, fires body shots, then CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Jericho reaches for his corner but Ricochet CLUBS him in the back! Ricochet runs, but Jericho BACKDROPS him!
The fans fire up while both men are down! Ricochet hot tags Kaun, and Kaun blocks Jericho’s path! Jericho reaches out but Hurt Syndicate are just too far away! Jericho endures the bearhug to BELL CLAP! Kaun swings, Jericho dodges, hot tag to Lashley! The fans fire up as Lashley CLOBBERS Kaun, BLASTS Liona, and TOSSES Ricochet! Lashley RUNS Kaun over again, RAMS Ricochet, then RAMS Kaun! And then back to Ricochet! Then MILE HIGH FLATLINER! Then a kick and gut wrench for Kaun! DOMINATOR! Cover, Liona breaks it! The fans boo but Liona drags Lashley up. Liona CLUBS Lashley, whips him, but Lashey reverses!
Lashley LARIATS Liona up and out, then tags Shelton! Shelton waits on Kaun, then slips around to GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up as Shelton GERMAN SUPLEXES again! Then STEP-UP KNEE for Liona! Kaun runs up, Shelton slips around again, GERMAN SUPLEX! Ricochet leaps in, but Shelton gets him for a GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up as Rip City is now Suplex City! Shelton tags Jericho, Jericho winds up, and he trips Ricochet! Ricochet fights the turnover, Liona runs up, but Jericho dodge! Jericho kicks a shin, then trips Liona! But Ricochet POSTS Jericho first! The fans boo but Lashley TOSSES Ricochet!
Lashley RAMS Ricochet, then runs again, but Liona trips him up! Liona drags Lashley out, fireman’s carries, SAMOAN DROP! Ricochet goes up, Jericho SHORYUKENS! And CHOPS! Jericho goes up, up, and rains down fists! The fans count along as Jericho gives Ricochet nine, then TEN before the SUPER STEINER! Ricochet flounders, the fans fire up, but Kaun is up! HAYMAKER! The fans boo but Kaun goes to a corner. Kaun climbs, but Shelton spings up to get him! SUPER ARM-DRAG! The fans fire up as Lashley and Liona meet! Lashley trips but he still SPEARS Liona! CODE BREAKER on Ricochet! Jericho covers, TWO!
Ricochet survives but the fans chant for Jericho! Jericho waits on Ricochet, but Ricochet slips through to backslide! TWO, and Ricochet JUMP KNEES! Shelton is in, he FLAPJACKS Ricochet! Kaun SHOTGUNS Shelton! Lashley SPEARS Kaun! Liona POUNCES Lashley! Liona grins and he runs up on Jericho, but Jericho dodge! Liona tumbles up and out! Jericho dodges Ricochet to waistlock, Ricochet switches, but Jericho victory rolls, to then have the legs! Ricochet fights the turn, but still ends up in the WALLS OF JERICHO!! The fans are thunderous, but Kaun storms in! The ref stops Kaun, and that lets Liona drag Ricochet to safety!
Lashley CLOBBERS Liona and THROWS him into railing! Shelton does the same to Kaun! But Ricochet LOW BLOWS Jericho!! The fans boo but Ricochet pushes Jericho down, and hits the “RICOSAULT!” Cover, Demand wins!!

MVP is as upset as anyone, The Demand used misdirection to steal another victory! But is Ricochet right? Is Jericho just the guy who gets beat up by The Demand every week he shows up? Or can Jericho turn things around before it gets any worse?
