NXT Live Event Debut And Injury

Published

on

Ricochet made his WWE Live Event NXT in-ring debut last night in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. His first opponent in NXT was Buddy Murphy, in which he won the match. Ricochet previously made his NXT in-ring debut at set of TV tapings on February 2nd.

At the same NXT live event on Thursday in Mississauga, ON at the Hershey Centre, one star appears to have suffered an injury at the event.

Bianca Belair appears to have suffered an injury during her match with NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon. When Moon attempted her finisher “The Eclipse” the move appeared to be botched.

Belair was able to kickout of the pin attempted however the pin was still counted. After the match, Belair was rushed to the back and was seen clutching her neck. It’s yet to he stated how significant the injury is.

My Thoughts:

Ricochet is an extremely popular and polarizing superstar in NXT. He has made some statements that has upset some, however you can’t deny his talent. It’s good to finally see him in the ring again. You have to wonder, with him working with Murphy, if he is 205 Live bound. This would be a fantastic pickup for the WWE Network show and a way to show off his talents. Personally I am a fan of putting Ricochet on 205 Live.

Bianca Belair looks to be everything WWE officials wanted Dana Brooke to be. She is an extremely physically gifted woman in NXT. The shear fact she was in the ring with the champion says alot about her status. Let’s hope that this injury is just a stinger and isn’t serious where she will have to miss time.

ZARIA Betrays Sol Ruca to Win Last Woman Standing at NXT Revenge

Published

on

ZARIA once again betrayed Sol Ruca’s trust and used that treachery to secure victory in a Last Woman Standing match that closed out week two of NXT Revenge. The brutal stipulation match ended with ZARIA unable to be counted out, cementing her dominance over Ruca.

Sol Ruca had been featured earlier on the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania, going one-on-one with new WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, but she could not overcome ZARIA’s final attack at NXT Revenge. The result pushes ZARIA further into the spotlight while leaving Ruca regrouping after a tough week.
