WWE emanates from Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center for tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live. Already announced is the Smackdown return of John Cena.

Here is what’s on tap for the show:

• The fallout from last week’s show.
• Naomi will take on Ruby Riott in a singles match.
• John Cena comes to SmackDown LIVE looking for a WrestleMania opportunity
• Sami Zayn battles Baron Corbin ahead of WWE Fastlane Fatal 5-Way
• The Usos and The New Day renew their rivalry ahead of WWE Fastlane

My Thoughts:

Smackdown has some pretty big shoes to fill with how Raw is rolling. Fastlane is not far away and it does appear the card seems pretty awesome. Especially if Cena gets added to the card. I like that Riott will be taking on Naomi tonight, hopefully they get quite a bit of time. Zayn and Corbin reignite their feud from the past and I believe Owens will likely help Zayn win. Also with New Day and the Usos battling I’m always up for a match with them, their chemistry is off the charts. Overall I expect Smackdown to be a fairly decent show and while I won’t be able to catch it live, I’ll be keeping an eye on it. I expect more tension with Bryan and Shane, as well as Owens and Zayn relationship questions. It always bothers me that Styles seems to be a second thought when he has been carrying the show in ring for the previous year. We are building to the next stop on the road to Wrestlemania, let’s see what curveballs Smackdown decides to throw.
