Tonight is the go home show for Fastlane, the last PPV before WrestleMania.

WWE released the following for tonight’s show:

With just five days left until WWE Fastlane, two of the competitors in the WWE Championship Six-Pack Challenge will not be taking it easy, as The Road to WrestleMania heats up. WWE Champion AJ Styles will clash with Dolph Ziggler before this Sunday’s huge title showdown. Will Styles gain momentum heading into WWE Fastlane, or will Ziggler show that he’s out to steal the show (and The Phenomenal One’s place) on The Grandest Stage of Them All? Find out tonight on SmackDown LIVE at 8/7 C on USA Network!

Here are the highlights for the show tonight as well:

• Randy Orton battles Jinder Mahal tonight before his first US Title opportunity at Fastlane.
• A.J. Styles faces off with Dolph Ziggler ahead of six pack challenge.
• Charlotte and Ruby Riott come face to face tonight, ahead of their title match.
• Will Becky Lynch and Carmella come to blows?

My Thoughts:

This seems like a show that is primed to have us excited for Fastlane however may dissapoint. The main event with Styles and Ziggler is sure to end in a melee. Orton and Mahal is sure to end with a Roode and Orton staredown. Let’s just hope even if predictable it’s pulled off well and can be enjoyable. What I’m most excited to see is the interactions between Shane and Bryan and if it leads to anything. I feel by this time next week, we will have an understanding if we have seen Bryan wrestle in WWE for the last time.
