WWE News: More On What Roles Abyss & Sonjay Dutt Will Fill For WWE

What will Abyss & Sonjay Dutt be doing for WWE?
As was noted this week, longtime IMPACT Wrestling stars/employees Abyss and Sonjay Dutt have both departed the company and will soon be starting for WWE, possibly even already signing their contracts (see the original story here).
Despite reports that the two will be working for WWE behind-the-scenes, a lot of fans have already begun speculating that we could see Sonjay or ‘The Monster’ inside of the company’s squared circle. To reiterate, this was never originally reported.
PWInsider has since provided further clarification on their roles in WWE as they are reporting they have confirmed that the two will be working backstage. At this time their specific job duties are not yet known, however it’s said that WWE has been making a push recently to hire more producers, as well as staff for both the Performance Center in Orlando and the new NXT UK Performance Center in London.
Previously, Abyss and Sonjay had been fulfilling similar duties for IMPACT with Dutt being a member of the creative team.

ZARIA Betrays Sol Ruca to Win Last Woman Standing at NXT Revenge
ZARIA once again betrayed Sol Ruca’s trust and used that treachery to secure victory in a Last Woman Standing match that closed out week two of NXT Revenge. The brutal stipulation match ended with ZARIA unable to be counted out, cementing her dominance over Ruca.
Sol Ruca had been featured earlier on the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania, going one-on-one with new WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, but she could not overcome ZARIA’s final attack at NXT Revenge. The result pushes ZARIA further into the spotlight while leaving Ruca regrouping after a tough week.
