The Thank You Celebrashon begins now!
Soul Train Jones is here in Chicago with a smaller version of a Macy Thanksgiving Parade as he welcomes us to “the greatest night in television history!” He introduces to us, the Greatest of All Time, Le Champion, Chris Jericho! The AEW World Champion walks out to all the fanfare he feels he deserves, and already has a little bit of the bubbly on hand. Jericho joins STJ in the ring and Chicago chants, “Thank You, Jericho!” Jericho tells Chicago to sit down and shut up now. This is HIS celebrashon, and he doesn’t need them messing any of it up. Tonight, Jericho gets that thanks. Not from the Chicagoans that don’t matter, but the AEW and TNT top brass! As Soul Train said, this is going to be the best night in TV history. Some of the fans are lucky enough to have a 50 cents off coupon for the newest Chris Jericho t-shirt. Yes, cents, not percent.
But moving on, “after months of discussion and investigation,” the greatest tasting grapes were found in Nepal and the Inner Circle has created the official Little Bit of the Bubbly! Go to the website now to order yours, supplies are limited. Fans chant for the “Bubbly! Bubbly!” as Jericho opens the bottle and sprays some around. He pours himself and Soul Train a toast. They sip, and it tastes so good. Now Jericho brings out his best friends in the world, the Inner Circle! Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz come out, bringing extra Bubbly and other party favors. Sammy has a mic to say to his “father figure,” that he will thank Jericho. They’ve got all sorts of gifts, but the best gift is what Sammy has. A picture may be worth 1000 words, but this is priceless. Sammy takes the veil off the mystery item, it’s a Jericho-Sammy cardboard cutout of them hugging! And then they recreate it live! Thank you, Spanish God.
Santana and Ortiz are up next, and they have a Boricua gift basket. It’s the Winter, so that means it is flu season. Mama told him that you just gotta put this all over, and you’re all good! And then they have a picture of Hector Lavoe! But that’s not all, there’s some choncletas. These double as weapons. There’s something in a brown bag. This is Little Bit of a 40. Best of all, Jericho is an official Boricua. They give him a Puerto Rico headband. This is already the greatest night of his life, but where is the Big Hurt, Jake Hager? They look around but Hager comes out with a gift of his own. The little critter is reluctant to come out. This is Chris Jerigoat. Jericho does want to know one more thing. What is this big box? What’s in the box? Is it a surprise? It has him all over it. This is the biggest surprise the Inner Circle has for Jericho. It’s… PAPA JERICHO, TED IRVINE!!
Jericho is amazed to see his dad here, and his dad is great to be back in New York City! No, Dad, no, it’s Chicago… Oh? The Blackhawks? Yeah. And Chicago cheers for them. Oh quiet down, they’re having a father-son moment. Irvine played for the Ranges, and they beat the Blackhawks all the time! It was brutal! Still are brutal. Irvine remembers some guy named Bobby Hull. Chicago Blackhawks were and always will be wimps! Well, what’s in the bag? He has gifts all for the Inner Circle. They’re custom jerseys based on the New York Rangers! Chicago says “Rangers Suck!” but the Inner Circle tries on their jerseys. Even Soul Train gets one! You’ve got Ruffian, Thug, Big Hurt, Spanish God, and of course, Le Champion. This is a lot of fun, huh, Chicago?
But time for the knitty gritty. This is the official statement from the AEW and TNT brass. Time to read it to the crowd. Actually, no, he won’t read it. Jericho makes the ring announcer read it. Fans taunt Jericho, saying “You Can’t Read! You Can’t Read!” What’s this kid’s name again? Justin Roberts. Where’s he from? Here in Chicago, actually. Where did he graduate? Buffalo Grove High. Well then Buffalo Grove sucks. Now read this official thank you statement. Justin takes the paper and reads it aloud.
“Dear Chris Jericho, on behalf of Warner Media, TNT and the entire AEW Family, we wanted to take our time and extend our sincerest gratitude and appreciation for all your contributions in helping AEW become the most talked about wrestling league in the world. Your exemplary service to AEW continues to demonstrate not only the performer but also the man Chris Jericho truly is. Not only are you Le Champion, but you are our champion. Thank you.” Fans boo, not believing a word of that. Jericho didn’t like Justin’s tone. Does Justin not think Jericho deserves the thank you? Huh? Huh? They beat up Justin Roberts! But here comes the marching band!? They beat up the Inner Circle, because they’re really SCU! Soul Train gets a Cobra Clutch! Or is a Million Dollar Dream? Scorpio finishes it with a LARIAT! The Inner Circle is furious but Scorpio will look to add on. Will Scorpio be saying “thank you” after he takes the title from Jericho?
Marco Martinez joins AEW commentary!
The All Elite Fleet announcer joins JR and Excalibur for the night while Tony Schiavone is with the Georgia Bulldogs! Marco looks forward to this big tag team match up next! And after what Justin Roberts just went through, Dasha Gonzalez steps in to introduce it!

Jon Moxley speaks.
“Months ago, I declared war on anybody in AEW that wanted to stand in my way.” That hasn’t changed. Every obstacle, every setback, every new scar, Moxley continues to push forward, “blazing a trail to the top of the hill.” Moxley is napalm death. Many look over their shoulders, say their prayers and hope the inevitable never comes, but is there anyone else out there that wants to get Moxley before Moxley gets them? Someone who has a death wish. “This is a call to arms to anybody who wants to step up and be hero. Be a hero! Or get seriously, seriously hurt trying.” Moxley keeps that open challenge open, who answers his call?
Cody VS Matt Knicks!
The American Nightmare returns! Betrayal of a best friend and a beat down by a brute isn’t enough to break him, but will he be able to get back on track after busting open his face?

Dynamite Dozen Finals, Diamond Ring Match: Hangman Page VS MJF w/ Wardlow!
After a wild battle royal, it was the Problem Solver and the Salt of the Earth were the last two standing. They now fight for a 45 THOUSAND dollar ring (I think the value went up since last week), “the most expensive ring in all of professional sports.” MJF doesn’t think that ring belongs on the finger of some “white trash inbred hick from Virginia,” but it does belong on the finger of somebody who is better than us, and we know it. This diamond ring match is set to become an annual tradition, but will the inaugural ring bearer be the Casino Battle Royal winner, or Maxwell Jacob Friedman?
The bell rings, and fans chant “Cowboy Shit! Cowboy Shit!” MJF doesn’t get it, until Hangman clobbers him! Hangman throws haymakers and CHOPS, but MJF bails out fast. Hangman runs but Wardlow stands in his way. Fans boo the living wall getting involved, but Hangman goes out to get in his face. MJF tries to sucker punch Page but Page is ready to punch first! Hangman stalks MJF and clotheslines him into the crowd! Hangman then drags MJF back up to hip toss onto the ground! Hangman stomps MJF around then puts him in the ring. Hangman glares at Wardlow as AEW goes picture in picture.
Hangman takes aim at MJF, but Wardlow creeps close. Hangman swipes at him, but MJF hotshots the arm! MJF then distracts the ref so that Wardlow can hammerlock and ram Hangman into a post! Wardlow puts Hangman in before MJF is done faking a bad eye. MJF wraps the arm on a rope and pulls. The ref reprimands and counts but MJF lets up to then kick the rope. The rope jams Hangman’s arm and MJF stands like he’s already won. MJF wrenches and whips Hangman corner to corner, even wringing him out before hitting buckles! Cover, TWO! MJF is annoyed but Hangman kicks back. MJF kicks him to wrench and elbow the elbow. AEW goes to break as MJF puts Hangman back in the corner.
AEW returns as MJF soaks up the heat. MJF runs in but Hangman dodges, then CHOPS MJF! Hangman haymakers, CHOPS and whips, but MJF holds ropes to yank the bad arm. MJF runs but into both of Hangman’s arms! Fall Away Slam! Hangman kips up to clotheslines MJF out, then DIVES! Top Suicida rams MJF into barriers, but Hangman climbs up top. Fans fire up as Hangman hits the SUPER MOONSAULT! Hangman gets MJF back in the ring and fans fire up more. Hangman throws off his arm bands, takes aim, but MJF uses the ref as a shield! Hangman gets in and moves the ref aside, but he saw the kick coming! Hangman flips MJF but MJF lands on his feet! And pokes Hangman in the eye! MJF runs but Hangman DISCUS LARIATS! Cover, TWO! MJF has Hangnan stuck in the ropes but Hangman tosses him off! Slingshot, BUCKSHOT! MJF flounders away, Hangman covers, Wardlow helps MJF get the ropebreak! Fans boo but the referee can’t be sure what happened. Wardlow claims he had nothing to do it. Hangman knows it was Wardlow, though, and so he goes right at him. But with MJF exaggerating injury again, the ref doesn’t see Wardlow’s punch! Hangman is draped on the ropes, MJF reels him in, dragon sleeper and, CROSS RHODES! Cover, MJF wins!!
Winner: MJF, by pinfall; wins the Dynamite Diamond Ring
MJF adds insult to injury by stealing Cody’s move to win! Wardlow helps MJF with his scarf, and the diamond ring is brought out, by Diamond Dallas Page! DDP grabs a mic and asks Chicago if they’re ready. “It’s me, it’s me, it’s DDP.” And he presents the very first AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring to Maxwell Jacob Friedman. DDP has the box, opens it up, and MJF takes it out. Fans call MJF a very different name as he puts the ring on his pinkie and gives it a kiss.
But DDP tells Maxwell that “some of your actions are very, very disappointing.” But Maxwell is the winner. Since DDP is a bigger man, he will congratulate MFJ like a man. He offers a handshake, MJF puts his gum in DDP’s hand instead. Seriously? Seriously. DDP yanks MJF around to face him, but Wardlow steps in as MJF’s muscle. DDP tells the “big man” to step off. Wardlow would look a bit stupid when a 63-year-old man kicks his ass all over Chicago! The fight is on but referees and security hurry to stop it! MJF gets his shots in, too! Security keeps MJF and Wardlow back, and the ring winner gets away with his bodyguard. Will this Dynamite Diamond Ring lead MJF to bigger and better things?
Dustin Rhodes is here!
The Natural still has a cast on that arm, but he’s feeling good enough to be in Chicago! He stands with interview correspondent, Jenn Decker, and she asks about the confrontation with the Inner Circle. Dustin says Jake Hager broke his arm, but he will be coming for blood. “You are not the same man you used to be. You are not this.” That is to say, #WeThePeople. But instead of Hager coming out to respond, it’s Sammy Guevara! Dustin goes after Sammy, then has to worry about Santana and Ortiz! Spinning pwoerslam for Sammy, but Santana tackles Dustin down! The Inner Circle have 3v1 on Dustin, but here come the YOUNG BUCKS! Matt Jackson returns to double clothesline! Nick enters, and the Bucks SUPERKICK Proud ‘n’ Powerful! Sammy enziguris each Buck, then knees Dustin! Sammy runs, into SUPERKICKS and BOOT!
The Elite take the Inner Circle to the corners and make sure each man is wide open. Fans are fired up, TRIPLE SHATTERED DREAMS! Dustin and the Bucks stand tall, but just how much more intense will this faction warfare get?
The Dark Order has another message.
Stop losing, and start winning. #JoinDarkOrder. The man with glasses from before finds the Dark Order’s place of meeting. “Who are you?” “We are one.” Again! “We are one!” Your friends will doubt your progress. They will say no to this. Why? Because society has failed. Because your friends have failed. Because your families have failed. But the Dark Order will never fail you. You can reach a potential you never thought possible. Just like the First Pupil, Stu Grayson. He became great because he heard the teachings. The Dark Order is all powerful. The Dark Order can be anyone or anything. From a politician to a teacher to the person who cares for your family. They are everyone, everything, and one. The people become Creepers. Are you ready to play? Are you ready to #JoinDarkOrder?

Jericho ducks a kick, and grabs the enziguri, to drag Scorpio back into the Walls of Jericho! Jericho sits deep, and Scorpio can’t hold out! Scorpio taps, Jericho wins!
Winner: Chris Jericho, by submission; still AEW World Champion
The Lion Tamer tames Scorpio, but he feels compelled to teach Scorpio a lesson for pushing him this far. The Walls are put back on! But here comes MOXLEY!! The Death Rider enters from the bleachers, and Jericho sees him glaring menacingly. Fans are fired up and Jericho holds up the title. Jericho dares Moxley to do something, and Moxley starts making his way further down towards ringside. But the sparks don’t fly just yet. When and where will these two wild cards collide?
My Thoughts:
Another great episode! It made a lot of sense to open with the “celebrashon,” and it was just rich with that same great Jericho style comedy. And it is awesome that A Little Bit of the Bubbly is now an AEW product. Getting the Father of Jericho in on the act was great, and it was great to have SCU in disguise as members of the marching band. Daniels seems to be a master of disguise. Just about everything in the AEW World Championship match was great. I wish they’d played up Scorpio have his date ringside, but perhaps they were worried about TV time and skipped it. And while there was a ringside band on corner men, of course Hager was going to defy that. We all figured Scorpio wasn’t winning, but he still looked amazing, as we also figured. Moxley giving his open challenge yet staking his claim showing up at the end of the show seems a bit contradictory, but given how AEW plans to use rankings and wins, perhaps this is Moxley reminding Jericho that he’s still around.
Best Friends VS Lucha Brothers was a great match, Orange Cassidy was pretty hilarious as a turkey, and I’m a bit surprised to see Best Friends win. Trent beat Pentagon, Fenix beat Nick Jackson, and now those two face each other next week in what will surely be another incredible match. The women’s tag was pretty great, AEW is going strong with these match types in particular. It is actually good booking for Sakura and Priestly to find a way to sneak a win, but also not pinning Shida but Statlander. Shida might still be #1 contender but she’ll likely need another win before she faces Riho for the title. Omega VS Pac was a great rematch, and naturally, Omega makes up for the All Out loss. This might hurt Pac’s #1 ranking, but I still feel Omega needs something more before facing Jericho.
The Dark Order had a great vignette, really selling how creepy they’re really meant to be. The Dustin Rhodes segment was good for keeping his grudge with Hager going, but I’m glad we’re going to get a Six Man out of that brawl. That is going to be a great match. MJF VS Hangman was also a great match, even with Wardlow getting involved at times. MJF keeps things going with Cody by stealing the Cross Rhodes, but DDP might even be added to the mix to counter Wardlow for Cody. I’m still curious as to the purpose of the Dynamite Diamond Ring but maybe that comes up later. Cody of course gets a squash match for his return, and keeps things alive with MJF in his promo, but I feel we came across a moment where mingling stories gets messy.
Allie going Heel while bringing in Braxton “The Butcher” Sutter (her IRL husband) and tag partner Andy “The Blade” Williams during Cody’s moment was a great surprise, but to what end? If it was one new wrestler, it would’ve made sense to say they were MJF’s newest muscle. But a new trio popping out just because just seems off to me. If they’d done this to a tag team, or to a wrestler not already attached to some other story, maybe it works better. Just not sure about this here.
My Score: 9/10

Adam Copeland is here!
The fans fire up and sing along as The Rated R Superstar makes his entrance, complete with the pyro but also a black eye. Cope goes to the ring, he grabs a mic, and he tells Seattle, “If you couldn’t tell, Dynasty on Sunday didn’t necessarily go our way. Yes, my face got messed up, way to go, Einstein. I got glue in my forehead, staples in my forehead, I got a shiner. Let’s face it, FTR… They said what they were gonna do and they did it.” The fans boo but Cope says they got to Christian, too, that’s why he’s not here. Christian’s gotta get an MRI on his forearm to see if it’s broke. The fans also boo that.
Cope says FTR gave his wife a piledriver. They took Christian’s watch! And in Christian’s world, that’s actually worse! There are three things you don’t mess with when it comes to Christian: His watch, his wine, and his women. In that order. But FTR, on Dynamite, you came out and said that while you’re the champions, Cope & Cage will not get another title shot. The fans boo again, but Cope says he is cooking an idea on that so bear with him. But if FTR thinks that this is just about titles, that C&C are just gonna walk away cuz they didn’t win at Dynasty, they’ve watched C&C’s careers and think that these two are just gonna walk away?
Do you think that they’re just gonna tuck their tails and run? The fans say “NO!” Cope says that is NOT what they do! Christian was forced to retire for seven YEARS! He busted his ass and he got this back! The fans cheer that, and Cope says he was retired for NINE YEARS, told he can never do this again because if he fell over, he could die! But Cope is standing here, full o’ piss ‘n’ vinegar! C&C are like dogs on a bone, and they will END FTR and take their pound of flesh! The fans cheer, but then FTR makes their way out here. Cope is ready to fight, but where are they? FTR walks out on stage, and Stoke has the mic as he smiles at Cope.
But then RPG VICE rush Cope, just like last week! Cope is ready this time and he fights off Rocky & Trent, but now FTR joins in! The fans boo this 4v1 mugging with Stoke cheering them on! But wait! The Young Bucks rush out here! Matt & Nick Jackson rush the ring, and they dodge FTR to CLOBBER RPG Vice! Then DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for FTR! RPG Vice go after The Bucks, then send them at each other! The Bucks reverse to LARIAT Rocky, then they DOUBLE SUPERKICK Trent! Cope SPEARS Trent down and the fans fire up! Cope snarls as he stands back up, and he shakes hands with The Bucks as thanks for the help.
Cope & The Bucks stare FTR down as FTR retreats, but will The Bucks and C&C have to fight it out to go after those tag team championships?
Jack Perry speaks.
“At Dynasty, I got my first taste of what it’s like to defend this championship. And it’s exactly what I’ve been waiting for. But Don Callis, you only got close enough to get a sniff, because I beat your biggest, baddest and most dangerous, Mark Davis. But after what you just did to the Young Bucks, well, I wanna shove this up your big, stupid, spray-tanned nose. So why don’t you go ahead and pick your favorite goon out of the bunch and meet me next week in Portland so that I can add another notch to my belt as the National Champion.” Jungle Jack has thrown out the challenge, but who will be up to the task?

Another fight, another dirty tactic! But in the end, even Windsor fell into the Toxic Spider’s trap! Will anyone ever get wise to Thekla’s tricks? Or will AEW always be toxic?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision, though kinda hard to follow that great Dynamite from last night. A lot of these matches felt like filler, but because it’s AEW, they even make filler go above and beyond. Pac VS Lio was actually the first real display of this “Problem Child” persona that I really liked. Lio got to show more personality, and seeing Pac & Garcia be afraid of Lio really helped sell the character. Great win for Pac, though, and maybe he goes for the TNT title next. Brody, Mistico y Dorada of course won their match, but again, they made the squash match a fun match. Them mentioning Bandido and Supercard of Honor was nice, it means they care about ROH on some level.
Very good opening promo from Cope, but of course FTR had to show up. RPG Vice attacking again was redundant, but The Bucks making the save was a nice change. Makes me think we’re getting an 8 Man Tag, FTRPG Vice VS Cope, Cage & The Bucks, and that somehow leads to the tag title match for Double or Nothing. Great tag match from The Bucks VS The Rascalz, and even a good move for The Dogs to go after those teams. I wonder if The Dogs and even The Rascalz get in on the tag match. Five, maybe even six teams, all fighting for the titles, that’d be awesome stuff for Double or Nothing, and a great way to give The Bucks their historic fourth reign.
Kris & Shida had a very good tag match and of course they won, but I like Mina accusing Shida of being whodunnit. Shida is certainly being two-faced, but who knows if she’ll be chosen as the one who took out Toni Storm. Great Six Man Tag from Conglomeration VS Lethal Twist, and of course The Conglomeration won. Great Continental Championship Eliminator, and great showing for Nick Wayne in his return to Dynamite. I still think he needs more to do with the ROH World TV title, but hey, they could use this to say Nick won some respect from Moxley. The story still feels like Moxley and Ospreay will run it back at Double or Nothing.
And as I figured from last night, Thekla was gonna cheat to win and keep the title. It was a great main event, but there might be something bigger in store for Double or Nothing, like a Triple Threat against both Brawling Birds.
My Score: 8.8/10
