WWE Raw Talk

It’s an ALL MIGHTY edition of Raw Talk tonight!

After a rowdy Monday night, champions and challengers alike are here on Raw Talk! How is the ALL MIGHTY Lashley feeling this close to Hell in a Cell?

Kevin Patrick welcomes us back to the show!

He hopes we “spare a few thoughts” for Shayna Baszler after that truly twisted end to Monday Night Raw. But we’re just a little under two weeks from Hell in a Cell. R-Truth is feeling great, but Shayna has some problems on her head. Truth is still missing his baby, the WWE 24/7 Championship. He can’t get over it. Every week he doesn’t have it, he’s going to bring it up. His baby is not here, but please, K-Peezy, continue. Kevin again apologizes. And Truth wants Kevin to introduce him. Why doesn’t Kevin go something like, “Kevin Patrick here with the former WWE 24/7 Champion, R-Truth,” huh? Well, Kevin’s not going to bring that up on his own.

Anyway, Shayna is hurting on herself. Do tell. Lily is after her. That’s being haunted, though, it’s different. Kevin cost Truth his title. Yeah but Truth is being haunted by Akira Tozawa. No, that’s more stalking or obsession. Shayna is being haunted. Kevin does want to see how this plays out, though. Shayna disrespected Alexa Bliss and Lily, stomped on the doll. Sometimes you have to know better. For one, never just call someone stupid. Alexa got mad, Shayna got mad, and then Shayna stomped Lily and things took a dark turn.

But Kofi Kingston had a great match with Matt Riddle. Truth likes both guys, so that was tough. Kevin brings up last time, when they talked about Riddle doing the RKO and getting it wrong, and here it was. Riddle tried, failed, Kofi wins. Riddle thinks Orton will be upset, and maybe Orton is, since he saw it with his own two eyes. Riddle still tries his own move, Bro Derek, but too little too late. Seeing stars, Riddle is now. And one more big thing, McIntyre’s next opportunity is his last! If he doesn’t defeat Bobby Lashley, he cannot challenge for the world title again until someone else beats Lashley. Who Kevin got? No, don’t do this to him again, Truth. Truth is just asking!

Kevin defends he is an impartial journalist who is also a mailman. Kevin points out how he used Truth’s joke from last week here, before Truth could do it. Truth says no one likes spoilers, K-Peezy. True. But McIntyre also scared Lashley’s ladies with the claymore sword through the table. They were all screaming, MVP was all mad, and D-Bo Lashley was mad, too. Truth says there’s old stuff between them, but McIntyre showed us something. Truth is fired up, and Kevin gives a rundown of the guests. Lashley, MVP and the ladies will all be here, along with Raw Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, and the new #1 contenders to the Raw Tag Team Championships, the Viking Raiders!

Lashley is here tonight? Yes. Why didn’t Kevin say something before the show went on? Truth would’ve been more careful with what he said! This is a big night tonight, let’s get it!

The Viking Raiders join Raw Talk!

Erik & Ivar are here, and Kevin congratulates them on their massive win in tonight’s tag team battle royal. Ivar says they’re feeling great, Truth says they look great. The way things turned out, how strategic. Erik says there’s no secret. These two have been a tag team for years and years. Erik knows what Ivar’s thinking, Ivar knows what Erik’s thinking, and when one moves, the other moves. They know how to play off each other’s strengths and cover each other’s weaknesses, because they are a team. When people come together who are not full-time teams, it’s hard for them to compete. Truth says they’re like twins! Ivar says he’s definitely the better looking one.

Kevin brings up what this means to have this coming Raw Tag Team Championship match. It is very exciting. It has been a long, hard road but they’re on all cylinders and are excited to have this match they earned. They’re a well-oiled machine. Truth isn’t saying they’re like machines or robots, but they’re big guys. Well, they have been called machines before in the past. They’re like cement mixers, the ones that make the house sturdy. They like that. Kevin asks what their thoughts are on Styles & Omos. Styles & Omos seem to disrespect the Viking Raiders earlier tonight. Ivar & Erik wanted to have a turkey feast, but Omos already had the turkey legs.

Styles said he doesn’t know anything about Vikings, and then called Erik & Ivar “wannabes.” Kevin saw the switch flip, Erik’s mood changed. Erik says that the talk of strategy earlier, this is Styles showing he is one of the greatest competitors of our generation. He is phenomenal, and he has a literal giant with him. On paper, they’re unstoppable. Truth says that so far in reality, they are unstoppable. Erik says that if those two weren’t worried, then they wouldn’t have been playing mind games and getting the Raiders to react. Truth sees what he means! Erik knows Styles & Omos are trying to provoke them and perhaps even disqualify them.

Erik & Ivar know this game, they’ve been around for a long time. They know when someone’s scared. Is Omos scared? He’s a mountain of a man. But maybe you should just use deodorant and use electricity and stuff. This microphone is electric, isn’t it? Nah, dog, that’s Bluetooth. We’re on a budget. But that’s the thing. Styles wants to disrespect Erik & Ivar out of the ring, to try and get them to do something that’d lose their opportunity. They’ll save this for the ring, and take it to the champs in the ring.

Kevin asks the Raiders what about their heritage and what Styles was saying that set them off. Truth knows these boys like to eat. Ivar agrees, you don’t mess with a man’s food. Amen! And you don’t mess with a Viking’s turkey leg. Truth wouldn’t. He wouldn’t touch any of their legs. Turkey, chicken, nuggets, none of it. What? This is Truth. He speaks gold. That’s true. But again, congratulations! Their opportunity is coming, Truth wishes them luck. They’re his dawgs now! But from tag titles to the Raw Women’s Championship, the Nightmare is up next.

Rhea Ripley joins Raw Talk!

Truth says she’s his favorite, and she likes being back, but Kevin picks up on her frustrations. And it makes sense, given what we saw with her and Charlotte Flair tonight. The title match is coming, but there’s also Nikki Cross. What has her boiling up right now? Rhea says it’s mostly Charlotte. It’s funny how Charlotte said she was the professional in all this, but we saw she wasn’t professional at all. Charlotte started everything, provoked Rhea, and the “spoiled little brat” just had to have her way and prove her point. That’s what upsets Rhea. You punch Rhea in the face, you get her wrath.

Then who really won here? They were a tag team but Charlotte goes after her first, and then Nikki and Asuka celebrate. Did anything come of this? Truth says “Don’t Trust Anybody.” Rhea knew she couldn’t trust Charlotte, but for her to stoop this low… Rhea should’ve known better. Nikki and Asuka are just doing them, and Rhea doesn’t blame them. She respects those two. But Charlotte… Charlotte’s playing a different game. She is trying to get under Rhea’s skin, but Rhea lives rent free in Charlotte’s head. Truth’s known Charlotte a long time, and while she’s good people, you gotta watch her in the ring.

Kevin knows Rhea is still “the new kid” here, despite being champion, but did she expect this from someone as tenured as Charlotte? Someone who is already 13-time champion? Rhea wishes she could say she did, but she’s been in the ring with Charlotte many times already. This is on Rhea for not watching Charlotte. So when Rhea goes home, getting ready for HIAC, is she taking this on board? Oh, yeah. HIAC sounds like Rhea’s playground. Boom! Truth likes that Rhea learned. Head on a swivel. Charlotte can get two faced. Smile one time, bite you on the next. Exactly.

So who is Truth picking? Since he does this to Kevin all the time. Rhea sits up to hear this, and Truth diplomatically says that he picks the one who wants it most. He loves both of them, and likes that Rhea was willing to give Charlotte a chance. But now that the title is on the line, give no one nothing. No chance, no grace, nothing. Everyone wants it, you can’t trust anyone. Whoever is hungriest, they win. Kevin likes that. Truth is the man who wants his baby back. And Kevin is the man who messed him up! Truth says Kevin needs a cement mixer for his house. Kevin wishes Rhea luck and thanks her for her time. Rhea thanks them, and both Truth and Kevin are fired up to see her match.

MVP, Bobby Lashley and the ladies join Raw Talk!

Montel Vontavius Porter and the All Mighty World Champion sit while their five female associates stand behind them and Truth. Kevin thanks them for joining the show. MVP wants Kevin to address the ladies directly, and Kevin apologizes for the omission. Truth asks if Kevin knew they’d be bringing this many people with them. This is a small set. Where’s the champagne? They have bottles on ice waiting, so once they’re done gracing this show with their presence, the champ has something lined up. They will pop those bottles and celebrate. Let’s hustle this up. Truth tells Kevin to get to asking.

One of the ladies admires Truth’s chain and shirt, and MVP says that sounds like an invitation. Truth politely declines, he doesn’t really party. He just goes down the road back home. Kevin asks if McIntyre disrespected the ladies, and MVP says we all already know he is crass, savage and has no manners. McIntyre isn’t smart, either. “He keeps running into destruction!” Einstein’s definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again, expecting different results. How many times does McIntyre have to find himself in the Hurt Lock before he realizes he cannot defeat Lashley? And he keeps begging to get whooped again!

Truth isn’t sure about that. McIntyre smashed that table good. But he won’t have the strength to do that inside the Cell. Lashley wants to talk about that. What’d hitting the table do? Nothing. There’s a difference between McIntyre and Lashley. Lashley doesn’t bark like that. ARF, ARF, get at me, dawg! Truth admits that is true. But McIntyre is Truth’s dawg. Then put him on a leash. Unless you want him to end up put down. Truth says if they have a collar and are tame and vaccinated, that won’t happen. Oh, Lashley has a collar for McIntyre: the Hurt Lock. McIntyre’s worn it before, knows all about “The Nelson from Simpsons.”

Kevin brings up that McIntyre did have a point about Lashley never stepping inside the Cell. Truth agrees, that makes this different! What you gotta say about that, B-Lash? What is the difference? Lashley and McIntyre get inside a giant cage, he’ll still beat McIntyre up. Lashley told McIntyre it doesn’t matter, so what does a giant cage matter? Truth says there’s nowhere for McIntyre or Lashley to go. They won’t go anywhere, they didn’t go anywhere at WrestleMania 37, and Lashley put McIntyre to sleep. MVP says that McIntyre told Lashley, “I’ll see you in Hell!” And Lashley responded with, “I’ll beat you there, too.” That’s hard.

Then if he does get past McIntyre, what’s next for Lashley? What’s next for the All Mighty Era? MVP says Lashley will just go after the entire roster! Line ’em up, Lashley will knock ’em down! Lashley says this is what we’re dealing with. Now we need to have some fun! Enjoy the fruits of their labor! Lashley’s put a lot of work in since he came back, now it’s time to relax. Truth says Lashley’s blowing his money. He needs to be saving up. MVP says this is THE champ. Truth’s money and Lashley’s money are different types of money. True, Truth is saving up, his accountant is advising him on things. But Lashley is still blowing his. Well he has an endless supply.

Kevin is sure everyone is going out tonight. Yeah, and Kevin’s not invited. Oh… MVP notices Kevin has a ring. Do you think Kevin’s Mrs. would appreciate him going out with them? True. Kevin promises his wife he isn’t going out anywhere tonight. Kevin’s looking a bit red to them. Kevin says on that note, we love you but we gotta go! Exactly, it’s been lovely but MVP and Lashley and the ladies are heading out! Kevin hopes to see everyone back next week, and wants us to be ready for HIAC!

My Thoughts:

A pretty good Raw Talk tonight. Kevin and Truth continue to have great chemistry, but I think Truth can have chemistry with just about anyone today. Viking Raiders had a good segment, and they had a good point that Styles & Omos were making fun of them because they- well, mostly Styles, feels the Raiders will be their toughest challenge yet. We saw Elias & Ryker show they can divide and conquer Styles & Omos, and if the Raiders do that, there is a chance they can get a win on Styles which is enough to take the titles. I feel like it’s going to be a long time before anyone makes Omos even drop to a knee, but it would be big for Raiders to at least throw him off balance.

Rhea had a decent segment, there was only much she could say when and Charlotte have already hit all the points they can on Raw. I did like Kevin turning the table on Truth, and then Truth answering with that answer. It really could go either way just on Raw only having so many ideas for their Women’s Division right now. And then Lashley, MVP and the ladies were a very good closing segment. Lashley and MVP are solid in their characters, and in those characters being incredibly confident those close to their third PPV title match this year with McIntyre. This could still build towards McIntyre beating Lashley because Lashley is overly confident, but who knows.

Steve Maclin Cleared for In-Ring Return After TNA Sacrifice Knockout

Published

on

Steve Maclin has been cleared to return to in-ring action following the knockout he suffered at TNA Sacrifice. On April 22, 2026, Maclin announced on social media, “AIN’T FOUND A WAY TO KILL ME YET. Cleared & ready to get back to work,” confirming he was not diagnosed with a concussion and is ready to resume competition.

The injury occurred early in his World Championship match against Mike Santana when a superkick put Maclin out, leading officials to stop the contest and Eddie Edwards to rush out and brawl with Santana. Referee Alice Lane received praise for her quick recognition of the situation as TNA tended to Maclin and ultimately ruled the match thrown out.
